Troon has a wide range of amenities including shopping, restaurants, recreational facilities and a yacht marina, and is home to the world famous Royal Troon Golf Course.
Located on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, Troon is the perfect base from which to explore the islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae. Ferries also close by to Dunoon, giving access to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The cosmopolitan city of Glasgow is only 40 minutes away and Edinburgh only 45 minutes beyond, with rail links to both. Beach 400 yards. Shops and restaurants ¾ mile, pubs ½ mile.

A nice small cottage in a very good location, near to beach and three golf courses. A god supermarket within 5 minutes drive 15 minutes walk. A good selection of food outlets from decent chippie to high end eateries. all within walking distance. Troon beach is excellent with safe bathing. The off road parking is good, the cottage is clean and adequately equipped, but the furniture a little tired, The bedroom is adequate but not spacious having said that we have stayed three times in the past and will stay again as its comfortable and very convenient.
