Beautiful two-bedroom lodge offering one double bedroom with en suite shower and one twin room with family bathroom. The double sofa bed in the lounge provides additional accommodation. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining area offers a multi-fuel burner, Flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Linen, towels and electricity is included in your stay. Coal, logs and kindling for the multi-fuel burner is not provided, but can be ordered.

The Coffee Shop is open 7 days per week for hot and cold meals and snacks plus Nightly Specials available until 9.30pm. Drinks both hot and cold and alcoholic are available until 10.00pm.

The lodge was clean, but the kitchen table had a sticky polish surface which was hard to clean and it had a divet design where you could see crumbs stuck in there. A couple of the runners on the beds had stains on them as well as one of the cushions in the lounge. However everything else was pretty clean. The lodge itself is now looking pretty tired and could so with a good sanding and repainting on the outside. The inside was better. The grounds immediately outside the property were overgrown and could have done with smartening up. When we pulled up outside the property, it really didn't look great.
