About this property

Tucked away in the popular Pendine Sands Holiday Village in Pendine, Camarthenshire, is this lovely three-bedroom lodge, The Last Resort. Enjoying a fantastic location just moment’s away from the beach, and access to a wealth of on-site facilities including an on-site bar and restaurant, entertainment venue, indoor pool and amusement arcade, The Last Resort is a superb dog-friendly dwelling for couples or a family of six. Upon arrival, you will find off-road parking for two cars, as well as a decked area with furniture, perfect for indulging in a spot of alfresco dining. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where you will find a fully-equipped kitchen, dining seating for six, and a light and airy sitting area with plush sofas and wall-mounted TV. Continue through to find the family bathroom, where you can freshen up after a day of exploring, before retiring to one of three well-presented bedrooms, double with en-suite shower room, and two twins. Explore the village, where will find a well-stocked convenience store, The Coffee Shop, a fish and chip takeaway, a beautiful beach, and the stunning National Trust site of Ragwen Point. Continue onto Saundersfoot, where you can spend a day on the golden sands of Saundersfoot Beach, sample fresh seafood at The Stonecrab, or enjoy leisurely strolls around the harbour with fresh fish and chips in hand from the Marina. There is also a watersports centre so be sure to get out on the waters! Venture over to the bustling town of Tenby, home to a magnificent castle, the National Trust Tudor Merchants House, an excellent golf club and a good selection of gorgeous beaches. All this and more awaits at The Last Resort.

An idyllic coastal community with a beach that stretches for seven miles and a past rich in speed record attempts for automobiles. The unfortunate vehicle "Babs," whose driver was killed in one of numerous speed record attempts, was buried for years in the sands before being unearthed, refurbished, and put on display in the local museum. The legendary Amy Johnson used these same perfectly flat dunes for one of her many record-breaking takeoffs. These historic shores are ideal for beach activities including sunbathing, swimming, and kite flying any time of year. Pendine is the ideal seaside resort community, with a variety of restaurants, bars, a grocery store, and specialty shops to suit any visitor's needs. The land speed record was broken on Pendine's beach, and the town now boasts a brand new museum dedicated to the topic, appropriately named the Land of Speeds MUseum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade. Caldey Island and the beautiful monastery are just a short boat ride away, and other nearby sights include castles, more sandy beaches, secluded coves, and the lively seaside village of Tenby. An ideal base from which to explore this breathtaking region of Wales.

It was not the best start to our holiday as one of our party has a phobia of them. The lodge is Situated between the bins the gas cylinders and a deep ditch of water the smells acrid. The lodge itself was lovely, comfortable and welcoming, if the position on the park could be changed then it would be excellent. When all the power was lost, because we used the dishwasher and washing machine together the problem was rectified quickly. I contacted the owner about the problem s and she was helpful although couldn’t do anything about the rats who joined us for the rest of the week

The lodge is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Very soft and with regard to the double mattress I could feel every movement made by my husband and vice versa.
