A wonderful, spacious house located off the road in its own grounds and driveway, with surrounding fields housing some of the owner's farm stock, leading down to the river. Huw and Carolyn are unobtrusively caring and helpful, lovely people who make the holiday with their relaxed attitude to life. Llandeilo lies a short drive away and has a great selection of interesting shops and eating places. We particularly liked the Gwili café, The Chocolate Emporium, The White Horse and The White Hart (both pubs came with Huw's hearty recommendation!). The Gwili Steam Railway is a must day out, something for all ages, and even the regular train from Llandeilo Station is a great, scenic way to explore places nearby. All in all, a great value, thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable family break. P.S the hot tub overlooking the garden and fields is fabulous too!

Excellent Stay! If you are thinking about booking DO IT! The house is so spacious and beautiful it was absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay in Wales. The location is great as we were a close drive to all the days out we had planned and when we came home the house was so relaxing and had beautiful views of the valleys. The hosts - Carolyn and Huw, are wonderful. We loved our little chats and felt like we come home from Wales making new friends. The house itself has ample parking, heating, large hot tub, great wifi, well kitted out kitchen, washing machine, wood burner, bbq and netflix! All those little extras make it a 5* stay!We absolutely loved walking down to the little river/stream at the bottom of the fields and we also loved just sitting in the garden, hearing the farm animals or seeing the red kites fly above us.I would 100% recommend this house to anyone - we booked as a small family but we are looking to come back already with our extended family (there are 4 bedrooms, bath, 2x showers, and 3x toilets)Thank you so so much for such a wonderful stay - we absolutely loved Wales and a lot of that was because of you and your beautiful home.Louise, Leon & Brooke ***
