Calling all friends, couples and families! If you are looking for a break away in a luxurious, spacious pod with a private hot tub, then this is the place to be! Nestled in the Carmarthenshire countryside on the owner’s working farm with superb views of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, this detached pod is 2 miles from the town of Llandovery, which hosts plenty of shops, cafés restaurants and pubs. The pod consists of an open plan living space with a double sofa bed, a shower room, a double bedroom and a large decked area to the front and side of the pod with a fire pit and a private hot tub.
For those who can tear themselves away from drinking Prosecco in the private hot tub, there are several walks or bike rides to be enjoyed. The famous Brecon Beacons National Park is also very accessible from here, as is the National Botanic Garden of Wales, the UK’s largest of its type, with a spectacular glass dome so you can enjoy a visit all year round. Less than 15 minutes’ drive will bring you to the fascinating National Trust Dolaucothi Goldmines, where guided tours take you back to experience the conditions of the Roman, Victorian and 1930s underground workings.
If beaches (including dog friendly ones) are what you’re after, the glorious beaches of the Ceredigion Heritage Coastline or Carmarthenshire are within 30 miles. Carmarthenshire has it all: awe inspiring castles, beautiful gardens, some of the finest and longest beaches, unique towns, varied landscapes and an overwhelming choice of attractions to satisfy the most energetic visitors or those looking for peaceful relaxation. Mountain View can be booked together with Valley View (UK31478) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

Had a wonderful stay here at the Mountain View cabin. The views are insane, if you’re lucky to get a clear sky at night, the stars come out to shine and we even saw a shooting start on valentines night! The hot tub is glorious, the bed is comfy too. Managed to cook a whole roast dinner on the Sunday, worktop space is sparse but I managed! Would only suggest maybe getting a few more bits for the kitchen, this is just my personal preference as i cook a lot, but a potato peeler and some steak knives would really make a difference and maybe 1 or 2 more oven safe dishes for roasting and a colander to drain potatoes / veg. Appreciate 95% of people would go out for a Sunday roast but nothing beats my own cooking lol! Local Chinese The Mayflower was beautiful, and the nearby Cwm Rheaedr forest is a beautiful walk too. Sarah was a wonderful host and gave us plenty of detail, even left us some welcome treats too! Will definitely be back, might even become our annual valentines trip.

Lovely area, lovely cabin, hot tub is amazing, clear skies in the tub give you some amazing starry views. Sarah is very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall, brilliant little escape, and very very peaceful
