The perfect Welsh holiday awaits in this delightful, characterful, beamed Welsh cottage.

A truly unique cottage, immersed in nature, surrounded by fresh air and tranquillity, with perfect home comforts too.

Once partly a milking parlour, probably dating back to the 18th century, renovated in the most sympathetic way to provide charming, comfortable accommodation, sleeping 4, (with 1 extra bed for a child).

Guests are welcome to walk through the adjoining field when the sheep are not grazing. N.B Dogs to be kept under control when there's sheep in the field.

Wander inside and enjoy the tasteful unfettered simplicity of this charming cottage. A step back in time, but with every comfort at your fingertips.

The well equipped, traditional cottage kitchen will inspire your inner chef.

Get a real taste of the countryside at local produce markets, held regularly in local towns or the local farm shops. The rustic pine table provides the ideal spot for leisurely meals.

Relax in the two cottage sitting rooms. The Cwtch sits just off the kitchen. With underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, you can laze away the day until your heart's content with a good book, on the comfortable sofas in peace and tranquillity.

The larger sitting room with wood burner, is a joy, light and airy under the thatched part of the roof, with lots of glass beckoning nature and blue skies in.

The little thatch roof is made from long wheat straw grown near Builth Wells. The wheat flour was used to make the owner's wedding cake.

The two hushed bedrooms are delightful, promising a peaceful night's sleep. You'll love the traditional crog loft sleeping platform, with the original ladder or the 2nd ensuite master bedroom accessed via stairs from the Cwtch. Both bedrooms are sympathetically furnished, with traditional Welsh woollen furnishings from the local woollen mills.

The deceptively spacious accommodation offers practical space for family or friends, with a useful utility room all your laundry needs and dog care.

This wonderful retreat is just far off enough off the beaten track for a tranquil escape, ideal for strolling along the nearby leafy lanes and through the fields, when the sheep are not grazing,

The setting is a celebration of what this kind of experience is all about. A perfect getaway throughout the year.
