Located right next to the Wales Coast Path, this stunning semi-detached barn conversion offers amazing picture postcard views from the living room and from your very own Jacuzzi hot tub, which you can retire to after a day’s sightseeing, relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset, views and the ever changing River Towy.
The Coach House has been sympathetically restored to showcase its character with a truly indulgent finish, boasting exposed stone walls, vaulted ceiling and wood burner in the living room with natural slate flooring. Each bedroom has been finished to a very high standard with quality touches to provide the perfect night’s sleep, and each features a en-suite shower room. The well-equipped kitchen is the perfect space to cook up a special meal and leads on to the dining and living room with access out onto the south-facing patio, which enjoys unobscured views across the River Towy and is quite a sun trap!
A 20-minute stroll brings you to the square of the seaside village of Ferryside, which was originally a ferry crossing on the Pilgrims Road to Llansteffan. Ferryside was once the heart of the Welsh cockling industry and still has a good number of locals harvesting these tasty shellfish. The village boasts a pub with local ales and live music, a small general store, a post office, a railway station and a fantastic beach to explore with your family, build sandcastles, explore rock pools or relax and take in the views.
A couple of miles over the hill, the ancient town of Kidwelly is really worth a visit with its historic castle, one of the finest preserved Norman castles in Wales. Travelling east along the coastline, Pembrey Country Park boasts 500 acres to discover and ramble, with its extensive woodland, dry ski slope, toboggan run and miles of golden sandy beach, ideal for all ages. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
The Coach House can be booked together with Wheelwright Barn (ref UKC3071) and Bronyn Cottage (ref UK11012) to accommodate up to 18 guests.

What a smashing little place the Coach House is. Keith and Lesley should be so proud of the amazing job they’ve done with the standard and spec of this lovely barn conversion. We’d have no hesitation in returning.On arrival Keith and Lesley warmly welcomed us (and clients of the other 2 rentals on Bronyn Farm, as oddly, we all turned up to check in at exactly the same time!!) and allowed us to settle into the property at our leisure. On entry, we could immediately see that no stone had been left unturned, in an effort to offer an immaculate rental. The living room and kitchen were large (as was the TV) and spotless and had everything you could possibly need. In addition, a small, personally tailored welcome hamper, had been left for us, which we were very grateful for and was such a lovely touch. The ground floor bedroom and ensuite (with its subtle mood lighting – another example of the finer detail), were clean and comfortable, as were both the upstairs bedrooms (themed) and ensuites. Outside, the hot tub was clean and clearly very well looked. The patio, furniture and garden were plenty and had the bonus of backing directly onto a field where the cows would come up to the fence and welcome you when they could drag themselves away from munching on the grass and bushes. The instructions, information and manuals that had been left to guide us through our stay, were very comprehensive, well organised and both extremely simple and helpful. Keith and Lesley work incredibly hard to deliver fantastic, impeccable, rental properties. Their hospitality and their personal touches not only evidence they love their rentals but that they want their guests to love their stay in them. We really couldn’t fault anything about our stay in the Coach House.

We had a wonderful holiday in Ferryside at The Coach House. Everything we needed was provided and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t have the best weather but got out to see lots of places in the area and had a very lovely week. We had a lovely welcome and our hosts were very helpful in giving us advice.
