Beautiful place been there often, love it ,few things goid be bit better like sauna working and balls for the pool table and cue,s but otherwise excellent

On arriving the keycode supplied was incorrect, we rang the number supplied but the person did not know and gave us another number to ring, the lady at the hotel did not really know either and told us to try another combination eventually we worked it out. Upon opening the door we were met with a pungent smell of damp, there was evidence on the wall and the laminiate flooring was spongy. The lounge had a smell which we were not sure if it was dog or the leather suite, the furniture was of good quality and the beds were comfortable and clean. A few of the side tables had ring marks where they had not been cleaned which we did. The crockery was all mis matched and some pieces were chipped, not enough plates or bowles were supplied for a party of eight. The knives and forks were also mis matched and of a very poor quality. The kitchen was well equipt with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer but no instructions. It could do with a facelift as some of the worktops were badly marked. The blinds throughout the property were mostly broke with vanes missing on some of them, the curtain pole in the lounge split in two and fell on me when we opened the curtains in the morning. The bathrooms had mould around the bath and windows. The swimming pool was not up to a standard we would expect of a Luxury property, the water did not come as high as the filters and therefore they were not doing their job. The pool cover was difficult to remove as the ratched wheel was not connected and we had to manually roll the cover, bearing in mind we were a party of pensioner, the eldest being 82 this was a job we could have done without.In the garden, there was a hot tub, we did not use it so cannot comment, there was an ashtry full of used cigarettes and the bbq looked like it had seen better days and the garden smelt of cats, we appreciated it was Autumn but it was not well kept. All in all, this is not the Luxury property it is listed as and feel it was overpriced for the what you get.

Headge at front of building could do with cutting back so you can see if anything is coming, floor in hall by kitchen and bathroom needs attention . other wise it's a good property
