  The property overall was beautiful and the location perfect, quiet and no passing traffic. The garden was a sun trap and we were lucky to have the hottest weather this year. Unfortunately there was no shade for the garden, and the seats were not very comfortable to sit out. We had taken a big beach umbrella with us so used this in the garden. The hot tub is a great extra to have use of, however, as the temperature could not be regulated it was far too hot to use in the day due to the weather being so hot aswell! Could have done with being cooler to cool us down. The kitchen, diner and bedrooms were perfect. The lounge was a bit awkward with the layout and tv on the wall, the sofas were not comfortable and always looked a mess with the loose back cushions. There was no fan so to keep the room cool we had to close the curtains. The games room was another great addition. We would most certainly consider revisiting! Thank you.

  What a fabulous place, everything we could have wished for! Stunningly clean well furnished and a fully equipped kitchen - thank you! We have a 2 year old so bare with the recommendations. Dolphin watching at New Quay - we took a boat trip and the guide was very knowledgeable, saw more dolphins from the shore that day but still we loved it! Leisure centre for swimming (toddler session but also they have a large water slide) - Machynlleth. Also by the leisure centre in Machynlleth is a great park, walks, gardens and cafes. Aberystwyth - the castle and castle park and the great park just off the southgate round about by the community centre. Aberdyfi beach, well worth the short drive, great sandy beach, toilets near and fish and chips. We really recommend Ynyslas and Borth for lovely views and walks. Thanks for a perfect stay!

  We loved our stay here, the cottage is amazing, the rooms are all really big & well equipped and the beds are really comfy. The hot tub is so nice at the end of the day & really easy to use, we spent a lot of time in the games room playing pool. The situation of the cottage is great, at the end of a dead end road so very quiet & private, you can shut the driveway gates & our dog was completely safe wandering around outside. Plenty of places to take the dog for a walk from the cottage. You are literally 5 minutes drive from aberystwyth town centre which had a lovely promenade to walk along, shops and beaches, both sandy & stony. We would 100% stay here again

  Corlan Aber is truely a lovely home from home. You feel at home as soon as you enter the property and have a lovely welcome gift upon arrival. The property is spacious and has a fabulous games room for entertainment. It’s in a wonderful location for walking and visiting town. We are a returning guest and have noticed a few changes since our last visit, so it’s lovely to see the owner makes improvements for guests. Thankyou, I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.   Fabulous property would highly recommend on all aspects, especially for a dog walking holiday with friends. Found some excellent dog friendly pubs including The Glengower in town and YFarmers a 15 min drive which was remote but fantastic food. Owners and Caretaker were readily available if we needed them. Would definitely return if we were in the area again. Hot tub a bonus. As was the Charging Point for the car.
