Less than two miles away is the unsurpassed Poppit Sands beach where you can relax and enjoy the fresh sea air by the mouth of the Teifi Estuary. The River Teifi lays 100 yards behind Ty Capel Seion meandering through the countryside.
This striking cottage is full of character and offers a spacious open plan living and dining room with rustic beams and a separate kitchen. On the first floor the excellently appointed master bedroom and twin room are spacious and thoughtfully finished.
Ty Capel Seion is the perfect central location for exploring both the coast and countryside of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion giving you a wide choice of places to explore and discover. A five minute walk from Ty Capel Seion is the historic and beautiful ruins of St Dogmaels’ mediaeval Tironensian Benedictine abbey. Here you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee whilst taking in the ruins. For walkers the Preseli hills are a must and don’t forget to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast footpath which covers some 180 miles. The town of Newcastle Emlyn which lies on the River Teifi is a must when visiting, the market town has a host of boutique and craft shops.
The market town of Cardigan has a host of restaurants focusing on local produce and there is a fantastic market which sells lots of locally grown food and handmade gifts. Take a boat trip to spot dolphins or travel upstream on the River Teifi and visit the majestic Cenarth Falls, time it right and you may even catch glimpses of the salmon and sea trout as they leap upstream. A visit to Pembrokeshire would not be complete without visiting the walled town of Tenby, there are plenty of attractions for your family to explore with the award winning Folly Farm, Oakwood and Manor House.

We had a great holiday. Hosts were very friendly and close by but not intrusive at all. Location was great with fabulous beaches and walks around the area. Local amenities were good with plenty of shops and places to eat. Accommodation was really good. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family. We were also given a lovely welcome pack. Thankyou

A January vacation for two weeks in this lovely cottage. We had a special welcome pack and the cottage was spotless, cosy and warm on arrival. We had everything we needed and were offered clean towels and bedding at the end of our first week. The owners are very helpful.Poppit beach is approx a 10 minute drive away, with a lovely cafe. Other beaches further afield are worth exploring. The cottage is in a perfect location, whether you just want to stay local or visit places such as Tenby or Newquay. Highly recommend.
