Less than two miles away is the unsurpassed Poppit Sands beach where you can relax and enjoy the fresh sea air by the mouth of the Teifi Estuary. The River Teifi lays 100 yards behind Ty Capel Seion meandering through the countryside.
This striking cottage is full of character and offers a spacious open plan living and dining room with rustic beams and a separate kitchen. On the first floor the excellently appointed master bedroom and twin room are spacious and thoughtfully finished.
Ty Capel Seion is the perfect central location for exploring both the coast and countryside of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion giving you a wide choice of places to explore and discover. A five minute walk from Ty Capel Seion is the historic and beautiful ruins of St Dogmaels’ mediaeval Tironensian Benedictine abbey. Here you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee whilst taking in the ruins. For walkers the Preseli hills are a must and don’t forget to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast footpath which covers some 180 miles. The town of Newcastle Emlyn which lies on the River Teifi is a must when visiting, the market town has a host of boutique and craft shops.
The market town of Cardigan has a host of restaurants focusing on local produce and there is a fantastic market which sells lots of locally grown food and handmade gifts. Take a boat trip to spot dolphins or travel upstream on the River Teifi and visit the majestic Cenarth Falls, time it right and you may even catch glimpses of the salmon and sea trout as they leap upstream. A visit to Pembrokeshire would not be complete without visiting the walled town of Tenby, there are plenty of attractions for your family to explore with the award winning Folly Farm, Oakwood and Manor House.

Beautiful, peaceful holiday home. We throughly enjoyed our holiday here. Lovely goodies were grately received.We would like to return again maybe in the warmer months to really appreciate the stunning beaches nearby and hopefully see some dolphins 🐬 !

Lovely cottage with great fish and chip shop right next door! Small enclosed garden with waist-height fence, patio and lawn. Old cottage with pretty aesthetic, nice and clean, fully equipped kitchen. Little welcome basket. Friendly hosts let u get on with ur stay but only live at the end of the close if you need anything. Free wifi broadband. Nice large property for a 2 bed if u have small kids and a pet its perfect, or have the place to yourself as a couple. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Locally there is an old abbey to explore and further afield you have Tresaith beach waterfall, Cardigan and New Quay if you want to take a seasonal dolphin spotting boat trip for around £15pp. Cardigan is close by, very quick in the car and has a Tesco and Aldi, both open quite late. The Ferry Inn is a must, lovely pub and amazing food with beach side location. Local walks and views are gorgeous too, so much coast line, nature and history. Lots for everyone to do, will defo go back.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It has everything we need for a stay away. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is located in a pretty estuary village with local shop, cafe, chip shop and two pubs.We enjoy this area with so many pretty coves and beaches nearby.
