Close to the borders of both mid and south Wales, these very comfortable properties provide perfect holiday accommodation. The four cottages, Cartws (ref OH3), Stabl (ref OH4), Beudy Bach(ref OH5) and Beudy (OH2) form a right angle shape with parking in front, with lovely views across the countryside and all have their own terraces with furniture. Families will appreciate the separate recreational area with football posts and nets, picnic bench and table set away from the cottages. For added enjoyment, all four cottages feature their own private hot tubs in their enclosed patios.
All are ideally placed for exploring the dramatic and truly scenic Ceredigion coastline. The picturesque and colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is only 6 miles away where there is a selection of interesting independent shops and a great choice of restaurants and eateries including, fish and chips, ice cream parlour and fine dining. The National Trust house and gardens of Llanerchaeron are 4 miles away and from here there’s a delightful level pedestrian country footpath, suitable for bikes, pushchairs or wheelchairs, which leads into Aberaeron. Pretty New Quay with boats bobbing about in the harbour is just a few miles further on, and is definitely worth a visit. You must look out for the resident pods of bottlenose dolphins seen in the bay on an almost daily basis! Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

We had a lovely week. From when we booked to when we left no complaints. When Wynne & Alan knew Mum is a wheelchair user they suggested it would be better to park at the back and use that entrance. Proved very beneficial as there is a bit of a slope to the front door. The cottage is very well laid out and so comfortable. My sister was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bunk bed was, expecting it to be more for a child than an adult but she had some lovely sleeps. All if us did in our separate beds. The plumbing did take some getting used to but we did learn to accept the gurgling and noises etc as normal. We knew Mum had seen the wet room when we heard her say WOW When we arrived, there was a lovely welcome basket which was much appreciated. Although many attractions were closed until March, April or May we did get to see some beautiful scenery and visit some lovely shops and cafes and restaurants with even lovelier staff. I am really looking forward to coming back in the future, maybe when Wales is open. Although we had plenty of rain we also had sunshine so did get to use the hot tub. Pure blissFor just in case I would recommend guests take a first aid kit as we couldn't find one but most people do have one in the car. Otherwise Wynne & Alan have provided every home comfort. Really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas 2025 would definitely recommend only downside for us is we had 2 electric cars and charging points are a good distance away if they installed a charger here it would future proof your business whilst adding another income stream but as I said highly recommend
