4.4 miles from the charming town of Llangollen, in the heart of the stunning Dee Valley, is the small community of Glyndyfrdwy. The town, which is close to the picturesque Berwyn Mountains, is well-known as the place where Owain Glyndwr declared himself Prince of Wales and started his 14-year uprising against the English in 1400. Owain's Mount, the eroded remnants of a castle motte from the 12th century, is still visible today, and the settlement itself has a bar. The neighbouring Offa's Dyke Pathway offers excellent walking opportunities, and water sports enthusiasts can go canoeing on the River Dee. The surrounding town of Llangollen has a good selection of stores, bars, and restaurants and is well-known across the world for both its annual Musical Eisteddfod and its options for white water rafting.

Second time here we absolutely love it and would hope to stay again, would recommend in a heartbeat

The house is very nice with the balcony and the hot tub being our favourite places. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. The wine and chocolate brownies were a very nice touch when we arrived. There is ample parking and the owner was very welcoming. The house is in a quiet lane with the beatiful town of Llangollen just a few minutes drive away. We would Highley recommend this house.

The balcony from the bedroom was a lovely place to relax at any time of the day . We would recommend this cottage and will hopefully find time to go back down someday .
