its a lovely little cottage, decorated well, with the bonus of having all the cleaning essentials you could need, a real plus. Maybe the Kitchen velux windows could do with a little clean but otherwise it was another perfect stay, centrally located and very cosy.

It was just perfect for me and my Jack Russell dog. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom is big and spacious with a huge walk-in shower area and the kitchen has everything you need. The property’s located on the main street through Criccieth but the effective double glazing keeps any traffic noise to a minimum (in fact I hardly noticed any at all). There are double yellow lines immediately outside the cottage BUT you can park on the opposite side of the road for loading and unloading your stuff for up to an hour Mon-Sat between 9am and 5pm (and for as long as you want outside of those hours). The parking pass which is provided for the town’s main car park is so handy, and the car park is literally just 4 minutes walk away through a cut-through alleyway. As someone who likes the freedom of self-catering but without the catering, well it’s just perfect! Just 20 yards to the left is Spice Bank Indian restaurant which does takeaways, Allports fish and chip shop is opposite as is the China Palace takeaway, and the Prince of Wales pub is just a bit further down the road - it’s very dog friendly and I ate here two different nights and I can say that the food is EXCELLENT! And if the urge for a quick pint grabs you at any time, the Bryn Hir Arms is right opposite - this pub is also dog friendly, there’s a large outdoor seating area for in the good weather like which I enjoyed on my stay but it doesn’t serve food. For a single traveller or a couple this property is just perfect if you’re looking for a base from which to explore the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula but with full facilities (shops, eating places etc) right on hand. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the area.

Cosey for 2, excellent facilities, fantastic shower, and brilliant fireplace. All amenities are within a stones throw. Providing there's space, we'll more than likely be back the same take next year. Highly recommended.
