Guests say

Draig's Cottage in Abergavenny is a well-loved and central holiday spot, praised for its excellent location and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the warm welcome, and the convenience for public transport users. The cottage's charm and the provision of a welcome basket have made many visitors keen to return, despite minor comments about parking and sofa comfort.

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it cosy and well-kept. A single mention of cobwebs suggests room for improvement, but overall, the standard of cleanliness is high.

The location is highly praised for being central, convenient for public transport, and within walking distance to local amenities. Its proximity to good pubs, restaurants, and attractions in Abergavenny makes it a top choice for visitors.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy atmosphere. However, there are a few remarks about an uncomfortable sofa and a rusted bench, indicating that while the overall comfort is good, there is some room for improvement.

The cottage is celebrated for being well-equipped and providing a home-from-home experience. Nonetheless, comments about a non-working outside light and the need for better seating suggest that some maintenance is required to enhance the facilities.

The provision of a welcome basket and the cottage's extensive amenities reflect a thoughtful approach to guest comfort. While the welcome basket is a much-appreciated gesture, it should be noted that such gifts are offered at the owner's discretion and may not be a standard inclusion for all stays.

It was a great central location to the town and countryside around. The cottage very warm, quiet and comfortable, plenty of kitchen equipment if required. Great pub and Gurkha resturant less than two minute walk away. Obviously we were aware of no parking on sight, this was not a problem, spaces and free over night car parks.

Lovely Cottage that was clean, comfortable & well equipped. The directions to the cottage were easy to follow. We were able to park in the nearby public car park which was only a minute walk away. Idea location in the centre of the town. Quiet courtyard
