This luxury property, a former mission hall, was renovated in 2019 and consists of an open plan living space with a wood burner, Smart TV and patio doors leading to a courtyard area. The Old Chapel is situated in the village of Grosmont, which has its very own castle for history enthusiasts, and there are plenty of other castles nearby, including Skenfrith Castle, 4 miles, and White Castle, 4½ miles. There are plenty of walks to be had from the property as its situated on the Wye Valley, and the River Usk is 9 miles away.
The market town of Abergavenny is 11 miles away and has an abundance of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It also holds its award-winning food festival every September. For those wanting to visit the historic town of Monmouth, is just a 12-mile drive from the property, and there are some local restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We had a great week at the old chapel which was not only in a great location but was very comfortable. We enjoyed the little surprise that was left for our arrival and the cottage had everything we needed. The only thing I would say and this is not a negative, is that it would have been nice if the garden was enclosed for dogs. This did not deter us and we had a fabulous week. We enjoyed our trips to Abergavenny, Monmouth and Hereford which weren't far as the cottage was central to all of these places.
