Front garden with firepit, sitting out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. There are some fabulous views to be had of the rolling countryside of England and Wales from the property, you are also directly on the three castles walk, located in Grosmont near Abergavenny and Monmouth. The Workshop has been renovated to a high standard in 2022 and comprises of an open plan living space, the front of lodge with some outstanding views, a double bedroom with ensuite and a large lawned garden with a bistro set and fire pit.
The market town of Abergavenny is 11 miles away and has an abundance of shops, restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops. It also holds its award-winning food festival every September. For those wanting to visit the historic town of Monmouth, is just a 9-mile drive from the property, and there are some local restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages. Pub and restaurant 2 miles, for those golf enthusiasts there are three golf courses within 5 miles of the property.

Deep in the countryside, north of Monmouth, this cosy cottage has views to die for! Watch the dawn break over the hills from the comfort of an armchair.The cottage is clean, well appointed and has all the necessities for day to day life. Plenty of information is provided about local attractions and places of interest.

If you are looking for a few days away in the peace and quiet then this is ideal. However, be aware that the description suggests microwave/oven/grill which is misleading as the property includes just a microwave oven with grill and not an oven. Everything else was fine.

Stunning views, with everything we expected and needed. The Workshop was bright and airy. A nice touch was a torch on each bedside table. Lovely, small but well appointed bathroom, with beautiful hot water!It was a place to relax and unwind. Plenty of scope for walking. Host very helpful but you do need to take a sufficient supply of food as the Shops are not around the corner. Coffee machine welcomed but unfortunately, the milk supplied was curdled. A lovely three day stay! Around us was working farms and we were mindful of machinery movement therefore care is needed on small roads.
