Guests say

Tyr Ywen Cottage is highly praised for its stunning views, high standard furnishings, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests enjoy the well-equipped space, hot tub, and the proximity to Abergavenny. The remote setting offers a peaceful retreat with friendly hosts, though some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are noted.

The cottage is consistently described as clean and tidy, with one mention of finding crumbs under the sofa, suggesting a generally high standard of cleanliness with room for minor improvement.

The location is celebrated for its stunning views and tranquility, with easy access to local attractions and the town of Abergavenny. The remote setting is appreciated for its privacy and proximity to nature.

Overall, the cottage is considered cosy and well-furnished. However, one guest found the main bedroom bed uncomfortable, indicating that while comfort is generally high, it may not be perfect for everyone.

Facilities like the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and log burner are well-received. Some guests noted a less effective dryer and the absence of a vacuum cleaner, suggesting slight room for improvement in maintenance.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as a welcome basket and Christmas decorations. While these gestures are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

This cottage was a perfect place to stay it was like home from home and even better stunning views in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage was heated to a lovely temperature on arrival so nice not walking into a cold place plus hot tub was up to temperature ready for our arrival too. We would definitely recommend and return again some day soon.
