The Garden House is appreciated for its peaceful setting, friendly hosts, and proximity to nature, particularly the ancient woodlands. Guests enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings, with several mentioning the property's charm and character. While some guests noted issues with maintenance and lack of Wi-Fi, the overall experience is seen as positive, with many recommending the property for a tranquil break.
The property is generally described as clean, with specific mentions of a 'clean, simple and cosy cabin'. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest that guests are satisfied with the standards of hygiene.
The location is praised for its serenity, beautiful walks, and proximity to nature. However, some guests found it a bit isolated and noted the lack of mobile signal, which impacts the score slightly.
Guests find the property comfortable, mentioning 'comfy beds' and a 'home from home' feel. However, some discomfort was expressed due to laminate flooring for pets and issues with water in the bathroom after showering.
There are mixed reviews regarding facilities and maintenance. Positive comments about the property's charm are contrasted with mentions of dilapidation, ongoing work, and the absence of Wi-Fi. Due to the varied nature of feedback and lack of consistent references to specific facilities, a score cannot be accurately provided.
Hosts are consistently described as friendly and helpful, with several guests mentioning a welcome pack with essentials. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
