Upon entering this beautiful property, the open-plan living area provides sumptuous seating where guests can cosy up around the multi-fuel wood burning stove whilst watching television and a dining area, perfect for couples to sit together for a celebratory feast or simple breakfast. The well-equipped kitchen caters for every occasion and provides all that you need to create culinary delights.
The first floor offers a tastefully furnished bedroom, with a king-size bed and stylish en-suite shower room complete with a walk-in shower.
Lawned gardens surround Shepherd’s Cottage with an idyllic stream passing by. Garden furniture allows guests to enjoy everything from your morning coffee to drinks at sunset in an picturesque setting.
Usk is conveniently located in the centre of Monmouthshire and the town itself has a castle, a rural life museum, the sessions house, a collection of old houses, a variety of restaurants, shops, public houses, hotels and other amenities associated with a vibrant rural town. Usk is also famous for its fishing and successes in the Wales in Bloom and Britain in Bloom competitions.

Could not recommend enough. The cottage is absolutely perfect. The location could not be better, it is furnished to the highest standards and was immaculately clean throughout. If you want a quiet retreat to unwind and recharge you will not find a better place than the Shepherd’s Cottage. Usk is a lovely town with lots of history, quaint shops, pubs & places to eat and that is just on the doorstep, so much more to explore further afield. We absolutely loved our stay, were sad to leave and cannot wait to stay again.
