The Granary is in a superb location for those looking to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline, whether it be on foot, on cycle or in the water surfing! An ideal base for a family holiday with the beautiful coastline just a few miles away. This ground floor accommodation has been renovated to a high standard with vaulted ceilings and beams. The Granary is approximately 150 years old so full of character and original features, limestone flagstones in the open plan living area, and oak flooring in the bedrooms.
There is a community owned pub nearby offering food Thursday to Sunday. Newgale is just a 30-minute drive from The Granary and offers a superb vista out over St Bride’s Bay. It is ideal for long walks with your four legged friends, building sandcastles, surfing, kayaking or just relaxing with the waves crashing at your feet. Travel south along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park route and meander around the picturesque coves and headlands. Pass through the peaceful hamlet of Nolton Haven, situated around the beautiful beach. Enjoy a trip to the famous city of St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, at the most westerly point of Wales and the final resting place of the patron saint of Wales, Saint David. Adjacent to the cathedral stands the 13th-century Bishop’s Palace, a truly magnificent sight.
Further along this north coast you will uncover the fishing village of Porthgain, where there is a delightful restaurant which specialises in local freshly caught sea fish and overlooks the harbour. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions! !

We had a wonderful week staying at the Granary—it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is fantastic, with easy access to some beautiful beaches. The cottage itself was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable; I slept very well throughout our stay. Alison, the owner, was warm and welcoming, and the thoughtful welcome package was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed our time so much that we’ve already booked again for next year!

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a week at the start of March. It’s the perfect location for exlporing the coastal parts of Pembrokeshire. Cottage was very clean, with home from home comforts. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The place is just as the photos show. A lovely, impeccably clean cottage with everything you need after a day out, including a great telly, warm log burner, and really comfy beds. Alyson was a super friendly and helpful host. The pub served a standard pub menu which had something for everyone, just what we wanted and perfectly cooked. Delighted to recommend and return in the future.
