This is an excellent house for a family holiday and beautifully situated in Pembroke with easy access to the Castle and local shops, pubs etc. and surrounding beaches etc. Very nicely laid out over 4 floors. We had a few teething problems but they were easily resolved and with a property of this size to be expected. The owner is easily contactable, pleasant and helpful. No problem with entry or exit and parking outside was freely available. The set up allows for mingling or finding a quiet spot. Outside eating area and surrounds are excellent. Would highly recommend a holiday at the Anchorage.

The house was a great size for our group. The rooms are spacious. It is a beautiful old building. We had no problem with parking and we had 5 cars. The house worked well for the celebration of my mums 80th. However for over 4k The house is tired and quite dusty, some very old stains in the carpets that have not been touched. One of the beds has a mattress that has completely collapsed, how can that have been missed? I was very taken a back by the man who checks the hot tub just letting himself into the garden without any warning, when we had kids out there. I work in education and that is a safeguarding issue.I tried to feed this back by cottages ‘chat’ but it wasn’t working
