Cleanliness

Guests consistently commend the property for its cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained, which reflects a high standard of hygiene and care.

Location

The property's location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with easy access to beaches, town, and local amenities, although the mention of a steepish road to the town centre slightly tempers the score.

About this property

A fabulous ground-floor apartment in Tenby, situated on the site of Colonel Fothergill's Mushroom House, within the walled gardens of the former Zion House. This wonderful property is well furnished throughout and boasts light and airy, open-plan living, a cosy bedroom, and a charming, decked area, ideal for enjoying a summer's evening drink. Sparkling, award-winning beaches can be found just 3 minutes away, whilst Tenby's shops, pubs, restaurants, and colourful nightlife lie within a short stroll. Explore the ancient town walls and the ruins of Tenby Castle or indulge in a choice of excellent watersports. Take a brief boat trip to Caldey Island to discover the undisturbed lives of the monks or view St. Catherine's Island, topped by a 19th-century fort (unfortunately not open to the public). Visit the mesmerising Dinosaur Experience or spend a relaxing afternoon at nearby Saundersfoot. A superb base from which to enjoy Tenby and beautiful Pembrokeshire. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 2474 and 3960 to accommodate 12 people.

The bustling seaside resort of Tenby, known within Wales as “The Jewel in the Crown", is majestically positioned on the spectacularly beautiful 'Welsh Riviera'. Tenby is part of the stunning 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest places in the UK. Enclosed by medieval walls, this beautiful town features a maze of cobbled streets, hosting an array of quirky shops, an indoor locally-sourced food market, tea rooms, and tempting restaurants. Almost three miles of stunning, Blue Flag-awarded beaches provide a variety of watersports, whilst walkers and cyclists can enjoy the local flora and fauna on the coastal paths, something the competitors of the world-renowned Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in mid-September) haven’t time for! A boat trip to Caldey Island is recommended to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the monastery and island scenery, and you can enjoy seal and puffin sightings en-route! Explore the magnificent Tudor Merchant's House, or visit the nearby resorts of Saundersfoot or Manorbier. Folly Farm offers everything from old-fashioned fairground rides to animals both local and exotic! The perfect location for an enjoyable and varied holiday.
