We had a lovely stay here , however the back bedroom twin room is very dark and would benefit from better lighting and heating. The location is perfect but the steps down to it wouldn’t suit everyone. Especially with large cases. If you are fit & healthy it’s doable ok

Fantastic cottage with gorgeous views. Watching the sunrise every morning and then the harbour turn dark and twinkly at night was perfect. We lucked out with parking and got a free space for the week right above the house - but I imagine in peak season paying the £50 for parking is better.Having our meals and drinks on the balcony was a treat! Lovely spacious and bright rooms, which were very clean.It's a very peaceful house and you can't hear the neighbours in any of the apartments. However, due to the location, large groups of teenagers hang out below the flat from mid afternoon to long past midnight and whilst most cleaned up, some didn't. Fireworks were let off and vapes were thrown onto their fires vibrating the windows. It was the Easter break so I imagine this is only a problem during school holidays (and can't be helped by the owner...)Even with the above problem we would absolutely be back in a heartbeat. It's a definite 'pinch me moment' location!

The apartment is very comfortable and atmospheric. The view from the lounge and bedroom is spectacular, especially at sunrise. It is well maintained and obviously well-loved. My only problem was access. You have to go down 31 stone steps to reach the property, so you need to be fit and able to manage luggage. I am 76, so found it difficult, particularly when it was raining. That is the only negative thing about it.
