Guests say

Bryn Araul is a well-received cottage, praised for its beautiful location, welcoming hosts, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome basket. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly amenities, the secure garden, and the proximity to scenic walks and beaches. The cottage's charm and the abundance of local wildlife add to the delightful experience, although one review mentions issues with cleanliness and heating.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, one review cited concerns with cleanliness, such as a musty smell and cobwebs, which slightly lowers the overall score.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to river walks, woodlands, mountains, and beaches. The peaceful and quiet setting is consistently appreciated by guests.

Guests describe the cottage as comfortable and well-equipped, with a warm log burner and a secure garden for pets. Some guests mentioned the beds could be more comfortable, and one noted issues with heating.

The cottage is commended for its well-equipped nature and additional amenities like a log burner and bird feeder. However, one review mentioned a lack of heating control and a desire for more kitchenware, which suggests room for improvement.

The hosts are frequently mentioned for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome basket with treats for both guests and dogs. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are offered at the hosts' discretion and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

A cute and cosy cottage in a great location for walking and wildlife. It has all the facilities necessary (TV, kitchen, wifi etc) and comfortable beds. There are plenty of nice walks starting from the cottage.

Bryn Araul was a really lovely cottage with everything we could need. The hosts were welcoming, generous and totally respectful of our privacy. A welcome basket including wine and cakes (such a lovely surprise), bed and towel for the dog, an unlimited supply of fuel for the log burner, and all the household items you could need so we never ran short. The area is outstandingly beautiful, with river walks, ancient woodlands, mountains and beaches within half an hour's drive of the cottage. Birds visited the feeder at the window all day every day and you can walk out of the back gate, into the woods and down to the riverside path. We loved it and we hope to return!
