Trawsfynydd 3 miles. A stone-built detached barn conversion, situated on the owner's 30 acre smallholding in the rural village of Bronaber, just 3 miles from the village of Trawsfynydd in the Snowdonia National Park. This Trawsfynydd holiday cottage has been lovingly renovated to provide upside down accommodation with contemporary decor and furnishings. This is a wonderful Trawsfynydd cottage with a woodburner in the first floor open plan living accommodation and French doors onto a raised veranda providing views of the Rhinog mountain range. There are two ground floor bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, providing accommodation for a small family or two couples who wish to explore this part of North Wales. A wonderful location for mountain biking enthusiasts and walkers as on the doorstep is the renowned Coed-y-Brenin Forest with its famous mountain biking trails. Enjoy the surrounding hill and mountain scenery, fishing in Trawsfynydd Lake, white water rafting, canoeing and the beautiful beaches at Porthmadog, Harlech and Barmouth. A quality Trawsfynydd cottage perfect for a holiday at any time of the year.
The traditional Welsh village of Trawsfynydd lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive Trawsfynydd Lake, which is renowned for its fishing, is only a short walk away and the village itself boasts a pub and a small variety of shops. The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village.

Two ground floor bedrooms, 1 double with ensuite double shower, basin & wc,1 twin (which can be zip linked to be a king size on request – if request can be made at the same time of booking please) also ensuite double shower, basin & wc.
Ground floor utility room with washing machine and freezer.
First floor open plan living /kitchen/dining area with a wood burner (starter pack of logs provided) and French door which opens to a raised veranda and outside seating area, with a second seating & BBQ area from the stairs of the veranda with access to the owners shared garden with uninterrupted views towards the Rhinog mountain range.
The cottage has a Smart TV/ WiFi, hairdryer, electric double oven and hob, microwave, integrated fridge, dishwasher and oil central heating which is included in the rental.
Bed linen and towels are included in rent.
Off road parking for 2 cars.
Secure bike storage.
Sorry NO pets or smoking in the cottage.
Village shop 2 miles away.
There is no electric car charge point but guests can charge their car at a fee of £20 per charge if guests have their own adapter ,there are many local facilities where car charging ie Coed Y Brenin forest Park (2 miles away which is free if you use the park).
As the cottage has a spiral staircase accessing the found floor bedrooms to the first floor living area which makes it unsuitable for infants under 3 or guests with mobility issues.
Note : no stag/hen parties or similar.
