Tywyn is surrounded by the Tarren Hills, and holds the 7-mile long Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Steam Railway that runs between Tywyn Wharf and Nant Gwernol. Nearby Tal-y-llyn lake and Talyllyn steam railway are always popular with visitors, as are the sandy beaches along Cardigan Bay. We had a fabulous time away with our two dogs. They loved the huge garden and doing lots of walks from the door. The waterfalls locally are some of the most gorgeous we have seen. We were very grateful for a cosy house to come back to after being out in the cold all day!

Such a lovely spacious and warm house with great facilities and in a great location. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed and a large dining table. This had nice views of the garden. The boiler room was useful for drying wet clothes and boots. The local pub (The Railway Inn) was really nice and it was great to be able to do walks straight from the house.
