  If you're looking for a serene getaway that blends nature's beauty with modern comfort, Woodhall Country Park is an absolute gem.

  My recent long weekend stay in one of their cabins with a hot tub was nothing short of perfection. Accommodation: 5/5 The cabin was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. The open-plan living area was spacious, with large windows that allowed us to take in the stunning views of the park. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and the living room was the perfect spot to unwind with a book or a movie after a day of exploring. The bedrooms were comfortable, with soft linens and plenty of storage space. Hot Tub Experience: 5/5 The highlight of the stay was, without a doubt, the private hot tub. Situated on the deck overlooking the tranquil surroundings, it was the perfect way to relax under the stars. The hot tub was clean, easy to use, and provided an excellent way to unwind after long walks around the park. Soaking in the warm bubbles while listening to the sounds of nature was pure bliss. Location and Surroundings: 5/5 Woodhall Country Park is a haven for nature lovers. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with picturesque lakes and abundant wildlife. We spent hours walking along the well-marked trails, taking in the fresh air and stunning scenery. For those interested in exploring further, the nearby Woodhall Spa village offers charming shops, cafes, and a touch of local history. Facilities and Service: 5/5 The park's facilities were top-notch. We appreciated the little touches, like the welcome pack with essentials to get us started. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist if needed. They clearly take pride in maintaining the park and ensuring guests have a memorable stay.   Our recent stay at Sunset Lodge in Woodhall Country Park was nothing short of extraordinary!

  From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere that envelops this hidden gem. The lodge itself is beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a luxurious getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the large, private decking area, complete with a hot tub, where we spent our evenings unwinding as we watched the sunset over the tranquil lake. The attention to detail throughout the lodge, from the plush bedding to the high-end kitchen appliances, truly made it feel like a home away from home. The welcome treats for us and the treats for the dogs (with personalised name tag) was amazing on arrival. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with Woodhall Country Park offering picturesque walking trails and the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife. The peacefulness of the surroundings made it the ideal retreat for a relaxing break, yet it’s only a short distance from the charming village of Woodhall Spa, where we enjoyed lovely local shops and restaurants. Check out the heated outdoor pool! Sunset Lodge exceeded all of our expectations, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a family retreat, or a weekend of tranquility, this lodge offers it all. We can’t wait to return!

  Little Pippin was simply perfect.

  Immaculate inside and out, spotlessly clean, and with a luxurious design, I can honestly say I have never holidayed anywhere as wonderful as this. I've stayed in many self catering holiday apartments/chalets/lodges, but Little Pippin is head and shoulders above any of them. Things I loved : ALL of it !!! But specifically, the warm and genuine welcome from the owners and Reggie the dog; the glorious peaceful and light filled bedroom with its delicious linens and decadent bathroom; the well equipped and practical open plan kitchen and lounge; the access to the garden for a peaceful sunny read with a cuppa or a glass of vino - and the designated parking space right outside the front door. I'll say it again - perfect ! Ideally located for some lovely walks to Charlestown - which is stunning - and Carylon Bay and on to Par, both of which have glorious beaches just perfect for beach combing. The Eden Project is just up the road, and whilst pricey, is worth a visit just to marvel over the sheer audacity of what has been achieved. The Lost Gardens of Heligan is 20 minutes away by car and is a definite must see - a great way to spend a day. And Lanhydrock National Trust is also beautiful. And the return to Little Pippin after a day out was the icing on the cake ! Thankyou for a wonderful stay - I will be back !

  Absolutely lovely accommodation in a perfect location for us. We were three adults and a dog. The layout of the property was perfect in that there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms at opposite ends of the property giving us our own space and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area very comfortable. The icing on the cake was the location. Very quiet and secluded with lovely walks on the doorstep and a vast array of beaches within a few minutes’ drive - you'll need a car. Add to that, every dog walker we met on the farmland, without exception were so friendly and welcoming to us. A breath of fresh air when you're out walking a fairly big dog. He was in his element and so happy to be meeting friendly faces and other chilled out dogs. He doesn't get such great treatment where we are, he loved the positive attention. It's true what they say about the skies in Norfolk being huge, we were lucky to have good weather and saw plenty of sunshine during the day and starlight at night. Would recommend Eric's for their fish and chips and Gurneys for their fish, particularly the dressed crab. Old Hunstanton beach and also the beach at Holme Next the Sea were our favourites. We can't wait to come back!

  Little Pippin is a granny annexe attached to the owner's main home in Carlyon.

  It is a short walk into Charlestown and was ideally situated for travel to Mevagissey, Fowey and Truro area. We thought the property was beautifully appointed, very modern and had all the equipment we required. The owner was even kind enough to leave us a pint of milk so we could have a drink after our very long journey. Do remember to bring your own dishwasher tablets and soap powder as these are not provided but otherwise there is plenty of cleaning equipment. I would suggest a couple of improvements such as a bedside table and lamp for each person and the double bed could be swapped for a king size for more comfort. We found ourselves getting rather hot as we were squeezed together. Although the property is advertised as not dog-friendly it is important to note that the owner's rather noisy dogs do share your patio area.
