  This place is quite perfect.

  It is set in the most beautiful area with stunning views. The accommodation is spacious, clean & they have thought of everything. The hot tub is lush with a perfect view. The peace & tranquility are a far cry from the city life that I’m used to. It is not possible to dislike this place. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and are rightly proud of their award-winning properties. We visited numerous places by car during our stay & there are lots of quality places to eat nearby too. Clovelly is well worth a visit - loved it; as is Morwenstow Rectory Farm Tea Room followed by a coastal saunter. We found a fab seafood bar in Ilfracombe (although Ilfracombe itself is lacking in character & not much to do) & there are two Michelin star places within easy drive of the property. Saunton Sands is good if you fancy a surf & there is a good Beachside restaurant. Arlington House is national trust and has a nice tearoom. There are also some excellent pub-grub places such as The Bell at Chittlehampton & The Rising Sun just up the road. The Little Silver Nugget is in the most picturesque area with lovely walks and farmland. It’s quintessentially English and I love that. Picture-postcard perfect. On arrival we received a packed hamper & quality wine. The hamper had eggs from their chickens, homemade scones & shortbread, tea, homemade marmalade. The fridge had milk & butter in it. The laundry room is excellent. The kitchen is excellent. There is one main bathroom with a lovely shower and another separate toilet room. Towels are provided. A raft of books & dvds provided if you are rained in. Grass and seating outside if you want a picnic. The local Londis (and petrol station) is a short drive and well stocked for essentials. A lovely week and would definitely return.

  Coming from London me and my husband wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of London life.

  I done a lot of searching and researching and when we came across this place it seemed to good to be true. When we arrived we was met by Peter who showed us around and show us how to use everything, Peter and Lisa also left us a welcome hamper which was very cute and helpful as we forgot to stop and buy milk. The property is so much bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. The views are incredible and getting in the hot tub every morning looking out was just breathtaking, it was so peaceful and quiet and although the WIFI wasn't great being off the road, we didn't actually mind because it allowed us to switch off from everything, but then if you turn off wifi our data worked absolutely fine so was able to Google places to go. When me and my husband plan to go away in the uk unless your going to a hotel you never know what to expect or what will be in your accommodation so we packed for everything, but we didnt need too, they provided dressing gowns for the trip up and down to the hot tub and even a few essentials at the property. Surprisingly even though we came down in February and came in the middle of 2 storms it wasn't as cold as we thought it was going to be, but this property has the benefits of underfloor heating and even on a low heat every part of the property was warm. Anyway that's the end of my long review, so just want to say thank you to Peter and Lisa for our amazing stay.

  We have just spent a lovely week at green acres in Chittlehampton with our two dogs. We were all welcomed to the cottage with a lovely welcome basket of goodies and a beautiful cream tea. We loved all the extras. The bungalow is spotlessly clean and modern in appearance. It has everything that you could possibly need inside and out. The bed was lovely and comfortable and had a throw if you needed it but the bungalow is lovely and warm with hive heating. It was good to have the free wifi for our phones and tablet. Outside had a lovely secure garden for our two adventurous dogs. The garden is not overlooked and has extensive views of the surrounding countryside. The property is ideally situated to all local tourist attractions which we enjoyed exploring such as Barnstable, Bideford Bude woolacombe ilfracombe Lynton lynmouth exmoore. Some of the lanes are narrow but it added to the excitement. The village has a lovely shop/postoffice selling everything you may need. Lovely people own it and very helpful. Also a really lovely pub that do meals. The lady who owns the property is a lovely lady who is readily available to help if you have any queries. Overall lovely property in a gorgeous location and we would not hesitate to recommend it .

  We stayed at this property and was much looking forward to relax in privacy for a couple of days where the property is located in a beautiful location and it’s very clean so no complaints there.

  Just slightly disappointed in the fact where are you stay at silver nugget it is next to the main house, and in the little information, book, that is at the property, the owners make it quite clear that you’ve got to be aware of your surroundings that the family lives next door, so you felt like you were stepping on eggshells a little bit really relax and the fact that you can hear them in there kitchen, so it didn’t feel very private in that way and in the pictures it is very misleading as regards to hot tub. Yes there is access to a hot tub on site but it’s quite some distance away from the main house so in my view, this property was very misleading and the fact that we paid £830. And We couldn’t book in before 4 o’clock on the Friday and we had to leave by 9 o’clock Sunday morning. I think this property is extremely overvalued There are a few places in around the area that we have stay over the last few years, and we have found that is much more facilities and privacy and beautiful little places in other locations , unfortunately we shall not be staying at this property in the future This review is based on our stay on the 10th of February 2023.

  Wow! My partner and I had an amazing stay at Little Silver Nugget, the property far exceeded our expectations the photos do no justice it is perfect!

  A very spacious, clean and comfortable property in beautiful North Devon, well equipped with everything we could have needed and more even a welcome hamper with fresh eggs, milk etc on arrival which is a nice touch after a long journey! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and everything about the property has been carefully thought out right down to the last detail! The hot tub is really special, a short walk down from the property with incredible views over the Taw Valley, amazing to relax and enjoy the stunning views! We were able to enjoy the hot tub as much as we liked despite typical November weather so don't let this put you off! The property is located within easy reach of local shops, amenities etc including some fantastic local pubs, we recommend The Bell Inn (Chittlehampton) and The Exeter Inn (Chittlehamholt) for fantastic food and drinks! I have no doubt we will return again soon! Thank you!
