  The reason for this holiday was to celebrate my very ancient birthday. We were a party of adults who were impressed with the splendid amenities and the more than adequate space for 8 grown ups to wander about. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and whilst the pool was top of the list it was closely followed by splendid competitions on the pool/snooker table....memories of long past years! The location of the house was wonderful, and within a stone's throw of some wonderful walks for the more fitter of the party. There is so much to see and do around this area. Lastly, like previous reviewers have stated - a BIG thanks to Tracie who was an extremely helpful and attentive person during our stay.

  Bliss

  We stayed at the newly completed house recently and had a wonderful long weekend. All of the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are beautifully decorated. The great hall had a roaring fire lit when we arrived, we headed off for an energetic walk directly from the house, along the River Arun and through water meadows at the bottom of the Downs which you can see from the Master Bedroom. The house is on the edge of Pulborough and only a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from Tesco’s. We popped into the local award winning Butcher and had the most wonderful BBQ sitting outside and enjoying the lovely gardens whilst the children mastered Croquet! Bliss. We will be back!

  We have returned from La Villa after a wonderful weeks holiday. The house, gardens and swimming pool were well maintained with luxurious soft furnishings and the dining / cooking equipment was excellent. Spacious rooms, a bright and sunny courtyard provided our party of 8, [ranging in age from 3 years old to 66 years], with all the space we needed. Many thanks to the owner, [who we met on arrival], for the welcome pack of a delicious basket of savoury and sweet snacks. We would recommend this house to our family and friends.

  Birthday celebration (7 ladies)… great property, very spacious & with a good size swimming pool. The surroundings of the property are beautiful & the courtyard is beautifully surrounded by the entire property. If you don’t want to be in the crowded part of Brighton this is the place to book & you’re not far from Brighton Center/Pier. The owner of the property was always at hand if we needed anything & the service we received from start to finish was impeccable! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Original Cottages!
