What our customers say about their holidays
Mrs Williams - Verified booking
the bungalow was in a very clean, the bed in the master suite needs to be on solid flooring as it slides everytime you move. the garden was advertised as fully enclosed however this was not the case but the owners could fully enclose it very easily, unfortunatly on the second day we were there, the boiler started leaking fuel fumes into the bungalow, the owners did respond straight away and called in an engineer. he came the next day and changed a seal on the boilder and said this should solve the problem, however it only made things worse. The fumes got so bad it the engineer said he would return the next day with a new heat pump and this would fix the probems. By Day four we had to leave as the whole bungalow was flooded with the fumes. this made it unbareable and hard to breath. i called the letting company to find somewhere else for us to stay which they refused as the owners were trying to fix the problem and they were just the agents for the letting. Our whole holiday had been ruined at this point with myself needing medical attention due to the fumes. We decided as the letting company would not find us somewhere else we were forced to go back home.

There's only a bowl and a cup that's been left out.
.....that's obviously an oversight from us especially when they can see there was a dishwasher been used to clean other plates and dishes throughout the weekend. A pan with oil should also not be the cause of distress to domestic staff. We have stayed in a number of places in the past and nobody has ever requested us to take the linen off the beds.....we didn't even know we had to have a thourough read of the handbook.....if it was such a mandatory requirement, they should have had signs on the walls or bedside to remind occupiers of the requirements. It's not like it takes much effort for us to do this. Seems excessive to charge additional 30 and put us on a list for these minor errors. Its more of a dissappointnent for us that they feel its acceptable to use language to suggest that these little issues caused "distress" and can be seen to obviously have been over exaggeration from the cleaner. If they cannot see that these were unintentional occurrences, then Paham is not a place we would want to return to in future and will not be recommending to anyone either.

We booked this break for some much needed down time and it turned out to be perfect for just that. The accommodation itself was faultless. Very clean & tidy and had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was probably the best equipped in any of the places we have stayed. The location was perfect for us. A 5 min drive to the little village of Aberdaron where there are a few shops, cafes, pubs and a fish and chip shop/restaurant, along with the beautiful beach. We walked there which took about 35 mins and is a bit hilly but it's a nice walk. The views from the property are stunning and we saw some beautiful sunsets. It was perfect for taking the dog as he could just roam around the garden getting to know the neighbours (the sheep in the next field). If you want a walking holiday there are lots of walks to do here. The owners are very friendly and helpful and were on hand up the road at their farmhouse if we needed them. This property will definitely be on my list of ones to go back to. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Everything was great! Bit of feedback and it’s not a reason we wouldn’t go back to Tir Bach Iago. We’ve stayed at cottages before that put a pint of milk in the fridge (this would’ve helped as no shops nearby). Fab coffee machine in the cottage but no pods to use and nowhere to buy them close by. If this was in the notes and customers advised to take some with you, I think it would be a good idea. Maybe a visitor book for people to write in, visitors can get tips and advice on places to visit or go to etc. The bath was fabulous and enjoyed using it. The underfloor heating was fabulous too. Fabulous decor, bed and bedding was really good quality and felt luxurious. We absolutely loved the accommodation, we didn’t want to go home! ??

Very nicely renovated cottage/barn in lovely location. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend but a few very minor things to bare in mind. If you are taking a dog, the drive way is shared with other properties so your garden space is not totally private and no enclosed space for your dog. The Wi-fi is very slow or none existent at times (which isn’t always a bad thing, just prep any info for walks and visits before you go). We didn’t use the BBQ but it looked a good piece of kit. The garden chairs are not very comfortable (perhaps they need some cushions), but they are functional and you can move them to raised area by gateway to capture the sun (depending on time of day). Overall a really nice property.
