  It turns out we were the first guests to stay in Molly Muppet and what a pleasure it was! It's a gorgeous little cottage, and it is little, but an absolute gem of a place to stay. It is hidden away amongst the houses but has a surprisingly large private garden and is still only a stone's throw from the harbour and the hub of the beautiful village of Mousehole. My husband and I investigated the surrounding areas and there is so much to see and do and so many great places to eat, but it was always a pleasure to come back to Molly Muppet. We particularly enjoyed lazy days of relaxing in the garden, wandering around the village and cosy nights in front of the wood burner. Perfect! The owner has thought of absolutely everything and has done a spectacular job. The cottage is brilliantly equipped and beautifully decorated with so many lovely personal touches. It has obviously been a labour of love. The owner is lovely. So welcoming, helpful and reassuringly relaxed. After a long journey to get there it was great to have a few thoughtful supplies to get us started. Staying in Molly Muppet is a bit like playing house for grown ups but in the best possible way. We couldn't recommend it more highly. Thank you for an absolutely brilliant week, we will be back!! Can't wait!

  Such an amazing little cottage! Peachy has used the space so well it's incredible. We cooked most nights and found everything we needed either hanging up, or in the pantry. Used the log burner every night for cosy winter warmth. The bed is super comfy and the hangers/underbed drawers are a great space saving idea, and so easy to use I might steal the idea for home! The garden is lovely too, though we were there in winter so would love to see it in summer. The village/harbour is just a few steps away through Duck Street. Lovely Sunday roast at the Ship. The conservatory in the Coastguard is perfect on a rainy winter day for admiring the sea from afar. 2 Fore Street does lovely food, and we can recommend the Hole Foods Deli for a hot chocolate! We had a great week and were very sad to come home.

  Clean and mostly as described.

  . 1 set of sheets and 1 set of towels are not enough for 5 nights and definitely not enough when you are not allowed to use the towel rack to dry them because the heating is off and you are being lied to that the heating is on a timer for 4 hours a day! I should be able to use the heating and everything else whenever I please and not ask for permission or having to wait for a set time to dry towels! Tv in the bedroom would have been nice and the charge to use the washer and dryer seemed a bit much! The fact that it is located so close to a main road is bothersome as it can get quite noisy! Check in so late and check out so early also not good. Would recommend something bigger if travelling with pets!

  A wonderful stay at Ramblers rest.

  Superb location with buses to Penzance / St. Ives etc leaving just yards away from the property. There are so many beautiful walks to be enjoyed and explored with the South West coastal path 5 minutes away. The property itself was homely, well-equipped and the owners (Nicola and Simon) made our stay that little bit more special. I could not recommend our stay more highly, and will most certainly be back, either to renew our experiences at Ramblers rest, or by bringing our camper van to stay on the beautiful and well-appointed campsite next door, which is also owned by the property owners.

  A really great little cottage, lovely neighbours too. The radiators are ridiculously complicated to adjust and we never mastered them but there is an electric portable radiator and the cottage was warm. The bed is very comfortable. There is a lovely garden that is big for the size of the property. The owner let us book an extra day at short notice which was lovely. In fact the owner was very attentive to our needs and it is all very personal. Mousehole is so lovely too. If you get the chance don't hesitate, book now!
