  Lounge has a settee which requires some upkeep . I had to help my wife to stand up from the settee. Door key only operated in one outer door, to access the garden we had to walk round the outside of the house. Flag stone step at opening door needs to be marked with Black & Yellow tape, my wife stepped back of the step on our first night and fell into the bushes because of the step down . My wife is 83 and was quite shaken by this. There was no welcoming note , it felt as if the whole renting process was under the control of the cleaning team who obviously did not care about leaving information visible . The process was nothing more than a renting agreement , we paid £718.00 to rent the property I do think a welcome of some sort would make the whole process more pleasant.

  We have had the most amazing end to 2019 and start to 2020 in this fantastic cottage! Everything has felt brand new and absolutely no corners have been cut furnishing the entire house. Even the games cupboard goes above and beyond. We have sent every evening in the BEST EQUIPPED KITCHEN we have ever been in! The quality of what's provided rivals our own chefs kitchen. After this week we now want our own AGA! To anyone intimidated by the AGA...don't be, it's taken our cooking to the next level. The AGA book and Mary Berry's AGA cookbook where the perfect guides. A massive thank you to the Norfolk Cottages Team, Ray and Anne for arranging and sharing this gem of a holiday let with us!! Happy New Year

  Yes - "We had a lovely time in February when we met up for our annual girls' weekend - we know one another from our student days and have been going somewhere different each year for over 20 years and this time chose to meet up in Norfolk. It was great - White Cottage is a lovely, centrally-located property which feels really welcoming and cosy, like a home from home, and the Aga made it warm and inviting. We enjoyed fresh fish and chips from Mary Jane's on the Friday night and a wonderful walk along the beach on the Saturday, followed by a fantastic meal out at The Gunton Arms (fortunately we'd booked ahead) and we'd definitely recommend this property to others - thank you!"

  “This little home was ideal for a week away from home. There was every amenity at hand. The location was ideal for my friend and I, as we travelled to Cromer using public transport, so everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Coming back to the house in the evenings was very pleasant, as we were able to relax comfortably after an exhausting day. The little luxury touches did not go unnoticed, like the milk and bottle of wine upon arrival. Overall I would recommend this property as ideal for a couple of friends, even a small family, plenty of room and very comfortable.”

  The property was situated in a quiet, narrow road near the town center, unfortunately it was used as a car park by workers in Cromer which made it quite difficult to turn into and out of the driveway. We felt that at over £900 for a September week a small welcome pack including a milk, tea coffee and sugar could be included and access to free WI-Fi. Information about recycling would be helpful, not all councils are the same.
