  The house is in a great location and has plenty of space. Unfortunately we didn't find it child friendly or spotlessly clean On the children friendly side ,,the kitchen had a island with a overhang for stools that our two year old granddaughter banged her head on daily ending in tears. Lots of the draws were just full of stuff not suitable for small children,,,hammer, screwdrivers,glue,spare bits and pieces for things around the house which little fingers find interesting. The bathrooms all had a box on the floor containing bleach and other cleaning stuff which again not good for little people, these should de out of the way or at least out of reach. The booklet inside said the cleaner needed the whole 7 hours to turn the house around for the next guests, apparently laundry taking most of the time. Perhaps while waiting for the laundry to do the could clean the corners and the lamp shades as these were covered in dust. The house is supposed to be dog friendly but dogs are asked to be kept downstairs when the living room is upstairs . The bookcase with children games and various books was a great addition apart fromm the three large boxes of matches and box of fire lighter Over all enjoyed our stay but couldn't relax properly as needed to keep an extra eye on the grandchildren who loved to explore being 8 year old and a 2 year old.the 13 year old was fine as loved his space to himself having his own room. For the £2000 + price we would have expected more than we got

  This was a very pleasant cosy flat conveniently close to the centre of Overstrand . It was easy to park outside . It was quiet at night . The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms and living area. The washing machine was a useful feature . Everything was very clean . TV system was ok .Overall this was good value for money . Communication with hosts was good . We would come back to stay there again The kitchen could do with a bit more organisation such as a storage space for mops brushes and the vacuum cleaner . The bathroom would be improved by a more accessible shower although the over the bath one is fine . We were a bit mystified by being left dishwasher tablets as there wasn't one as far as we could see . The sofa wasn't particularly comfortable and quite low to sit on . Opening the windows could be tricky as they are sash type and need to be opened from the top which is quite high up . A step stool would have been handy to reach the windows and for getting in and out of the bath

  There is enough space for a family of four. Two good size bedrooms and a dining-living-kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped to cook meals for children and there is enough space for the children to play in the living-dining area. The property is located near the shop, not too far from the pub and a pleasant 2min walk to the cliff with a cafe and a zigzag “road” to a beautiful sandy beach. The neighbourhood is very friendly and peaceful. It is true that the flat is on the corner of two streets but one of them is very quiet and the other has a few people passing in the morning or evening on their way to the shop or pub. The parking on the quiet street felt very safe and it was just a few meters from the door. Overstrand is peaceful and the sandy/pebble beaches stretch in both directions. It is never crowded unlike the Cromer beach. There is sadly no garden or outdoor area but it is very close to the beach. Also, we would have loved to have a freezer or a freezer compartment in the fridge.

  Just returned from three nights at this pleasant ground floor apartment . Very easy access to accommodation and surroundings area. Pub with good food , shop and nice walks with a slope access to beach , all very near. Very clean , good TV , very comfortable beds and lovely linen. Bad points , no freezer for ice for G&T , lounge needs more comfy seating !! Sooo uncomfortable , a dishwasher instead would of washing machine so kitchen things are clean. Bathroom enormous , could do with a separate shower as access to shower in bath is not easy if you have some limiting mobility. All in all a nice break for a very reasonable price. I would return again. Also free parking available near to front door.

  Position was great. Comfortable rooms. There were a few things, in my opinion, that require attention to make it even more comfortable for everyone visiting. First, the shower over the bath requires a grab rail for elderly people to help them in/out of the bath/shower, plus there is no bath matt. A walk-in shower would be better. Secondly, there were no oven gloves for getting hot food out of the oven. Thirdly, the kick boards under the kitchen base cabinets keep falling down and once caught my wife's foot. Had to prop them back up a couple of times. General decor in the lounge/dining area needs a lift with brighter, cheerful colours.
