Lovely cottage so well furnished and clean, welcome pack fab. We did experience issues this year with the key safe , took 5 of us half an hour to get the key then we couldnât get it to open again! We use key safes on our rental properties so are familiar with how they work! The front door also stuck and I had to get my children to open the lounge window and I climbed through it! I went to Suffolk secrets on Monday and the maintenance rang me said they would speak to the owner and look into it then nothing! I rang 4 times but no call back. I then got an email asking feedback on resolving the issue! I said they hadnât and someone rang me saying maintenance on way around this was thurs eve and we checked out Fri amâ¦.the key was a hassle as 5 adults not always together meant massive inconvenience. Expected a better service or at least feedback to be honest

We enjoyed eating out nearby and recommend the crab house, A&M fresh fish stall, new pizza place Flour, Frenches and Socius but also made very good use of the large kitchen and BBQ as itâs such a nice place to cook, relax and gather. The light railway was fun and the two local beaches amazing as ever. Couple of niggles, the first-floor room to the left as you come up the stairs needs a new mattress, it was very uncomfortable with loose springs. Also, the blind cords in the upstairs top room designed for the little ones have no safety clips so they needed to be made safe each night. Everything else was perfect!

Sandy Bottom suited us perfectly. We are a couple in our 70s with a Black Lab and were looking for something a little different .The bungalow was really comfortable, cosy and in a quiet location just a short walk from the stunning beach. Everything was neat tidy and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, crockery and white goods. The owner has taken a lot of care to make it a real home from home . The information folder had lots of useful information about eating,shopping and interesting things to do.The welcome basket of goodies on arrival was a lovely touch with some essential items and a special treat. We had a stunning week with exceptional weather for March - a great holiday break.

The property was perfect for us - incredibly clean and had everything we needed.
Huge, soft towels and very comfortable beds! Location was brilliant- just a short walk to everything. The only downside was the church bells (church is just a few doors down) that rang every hour throughout the night, every night!! On the Friday we discovered they did bell ringing practice and so they rang (very loudly) for about 2 hours solid, from 7pm to 9pm. Although they sounded lovely, this was really not ideal when trying to get two little ones to sleep. The property is absolutely wonderful and would definitely recommend- just be prepared that the windows are thin and it can be quite noisy at times. Saying that, weâd love to return in the future!
