  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the old tannery.

  The cottage was so clean on arrival, had everything you could need for your stay, the welcome pack included some wonderful Welsh cakes and Welsh butter that was delicious. The cottage was so warm and cosy which was very welcome with the weather we had! If the weather has been kinder the garden would have been lovely to sit out in. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk took you to the lovely town of Beaumaris. Even when we went out for the day no where was more than 30 minutes drive. I can imagine in high season parking might be an issue but we found a spot each time on the same street, the large grassy car park if needed was only a few minutes walk too.

  We had a lovely few days Hen Felin Isaf.

  Lianne was a great host, lighting the fire before our arrival and responding quickly to messages. The location of the cottage is fantastic, right on the beach with a small garden and patio- perfect for watching the waves, birds and changing light. It was comfortable inside and, although it was very cold weather during our stay, it was only chilly in the hall and bathroom and there were additional heaters had we chosen to use them. We spent time walking in the Eryri mountains, Llyn peninsula and around the coast path, right from the door! The local pub is also worth a visit for a friendly welcome and reasonably priced food and drink. We'll definitely return!

  Just got back from a 5 night stay at The Old Tannery.

  We were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay. The cottage has absolutely everything you could ever need and more. The owners have put a lot of effort into this cottage and it really shows- it’s absolutely beautiful and so cosy! The location is brilliant, with everything on your doorstep. We especially enjoyed having a walk around the castle and seafront in the evening. There are lots of pubs and cafes within walking distance and a bakery around the corner that sells gorgeous bread and cakes! We’ve stayed in quite a few cottages over the years but The Old Tannery is now a firm favourite of ours!

  We have stayed here 3 times over the past 9 years I think it is and there really hasn't been any updates with furniture, the double bed was uncomfortable for us and we ended up using the two singles which were really comfortable.

  The cottage sleeps 4 but still there is only a 2 seater settee and one arm chair so not ideal or comfortable for 4 people to relax. The location is what does it for us, right on the beach, fantastic, but am sorry to say we wont be returning, and what has added to making this decision was the 2 visits from the owner who walked past the front door and knocked on the lounge room window which I thought was a little intrusive, and also the fact the owner made a point of telling me twice, on these visits, to put money in the honesty box on the fire place for logs and kindle even though there was a sign/note clear to see stating this....

  We loved the house and the view!

  It's proximity to the town was excellent and easily walkable with lovely shops and cafes. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was fantastic for our multi-generation group! The two lounges were a bonus with teenagers. With all the bathrooms, there was no queuing at anytime!! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and on hand at a moments notice. The view was incredible and enjoyed at all times of day and evening - so peaceful and ever changing with the weather. Simply loved the house and would recommend it to all without any hesitation!
