  Property in excellent location , there is no parking at the property you can unload your car and then move it to the car park which is a couple of minutes walk away and a permit is given for the length of your stay , we didn’t find it a problem. Beer is a lovey quaint place with plenty of places to eat and drink , it’s has a lovely deli and bakery a small store , a couple of dress shops and lovely gift shops .The beach is pebbles with beach huts you could rent for around £20 a day or £85 a week or just hire deck chairs for £2 . Also a fish shed at the beach selling the catch of the day you couldn’t get fish any fresher it was lovely . Beer is definitely a lovey place and would definitely recommend a visit . Seabreeze cottage is a lovely place to stay our only issue was working the tv we got there in the end but never did manage to get rid of the subtitles !!

  Fantastic location, lovely apartment and comfortable beds. What more do you need! The apartment it our opinion is great value and we would recommend for a stay in Beer. Be mindful that the apartment doesn’t include the normal basics found in other UK holiday apartments, such as a Kitchen Roll, Tea Towel, Hand Wash and Salt & Pepper; so remember to pack those essentials. The only downside was the lack of communication over the parking, which led to us to paying for a days parking. So for anyone who isn’t from Beer, the car park is called Central Car Park, you must only park in the white long stay bays, and the parking expires at 11pm on the day of check-out. You do not need to do anything or display anything to park there, it is all taken care of via a digital permit.

  Just got back from a weeks holiday in Beer .

  We stayed at apartment 1. Durham house . We walked into a warm and welcoming place. Spotlessly clean and everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay . Right in the heart of the village. The village shop and bus stop across the road . Other facilities, bars, restaurant's chip shop , and shops in a short walking distance. The beach is also nearby, it’s a pebble beach, lots of things to keep you busy. We took the coastal path to Seaton which is quite a hike but if mobile it’s a good walk. We also took the bus to Sidmouth and drove to Lime Regis . . We took our dog with us and everyone in Beer was dog friendly. Definitely worth a visit and stay in the comfort of your own apartment.

  The property could have been cleaner. Some cobwebs and dusty shelves. The outdoor furniture hadn't been cleaned and the garden (grassed area) was in very poor condition. It wasn't somewhere you would want to spend any time, certainly not like the photos on the website. We could have done with a hand towel in the kitchen and a spare tea towel and we ran out of toilet roll. The rail across the top of the blind in the downstairs bedroom fell down in the middle of the night which was a bit of a shock and the toilet roll holder in the bathroom was loose. Some attention to maintenance issues is required.

  The accommodation was small but sufficient just for the 2 of us. The steps up to the apartment were steep and I could image that this may prove difficult for the less able. We visited in October so a light outside the main door or at the bottom of the hall would have been useful to access the apartment. Parking is in the main car park in Beer, just a short walk and we were able to park outside just to load and unload our luggage. Beer was a lovely place to stay with enough cafes, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. On the whole we had a great few days.
