  Thankyou for a wonderful 4 night stay at Little Gables.

  We are a group of 6 best friends celebrating a birthday and early Christmas day, complete with gifts and full turkey roast dinner cooked on the wonderful Aga. We were in the heart of the village of Broadway, moments away from the famous Christmas market, so we took full advantage of all the friendly local shops and restaurants. We also visited the Sudeley Castle Christmas lights extravaganza. Both definitely did not disappoint Our gratitude also extends to the very approachable owner Karl, who was very helpful in getting the cottage beautifully and tastefully decorated for us before we arrived. The bedrooms are all delightful and comfortable beds. The lounge is very cosy, especially with the wonderful log burner in full swing. The dinning room was a perfect retreat where we spent time eating, drinking and talking, away from the kitchen. A special mention must go to the gardener here! The garden is pristine and beautiful, as is the Cottage and village. We honestly wanted for nothing during our stay and we will cherish memories made in this beautiful cottage for ever.   Wow what can I say about this beautiful house.

  Three generations stayed at Little Gables for a week, everything was perfect, we wanted for nothing. Everything you needed was provided. Ideal place to stay for exploring all the villages around Broadway. The garden is wonderful a fabulous cottage garden always something to look at while sitting on the patio area, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the sun. Lots of lovely places to eat in Broadway or stay in and enjoy cooking in a fabulous kitchen. We would highly recommend a stay at little Gables best place in the centre of the village. Karl was very friendly and kept in touch by text if you needed anything. This is the 5th holiday home we have booked through Sykes cottages in different parts of the country and have not been disappointed with any of them, always been as advertised. Excellent service. Can't wait to return to Little Gables

  Little Gables is your quintessential perfect Cotswold cottage, built out of Cotswold stone with wooden beams and stone floors everywhere.

  Given its many original features, such as leaded lights and stone mullion windows with thick stone walls, it is surprisingly warm, particularly with the Aga in the kitchen that is great to come down to in the morning. Karl has done a fantastic job with the tasteful decoration and furnishing, all in keeping with this property and throughout our stay he made himself available should we need to contact him, which we didn’t. If you want to experience living in a true historical Cotswold cottage, with everything you need for that little bit of luxury thrown in, then Little Gables would be hard to beat. We had a fantastic time in Broadway and can’t wait to plan our next return.

  We had a wonderful relaxing stay in Tumbledown.

  The house was clean, in great condition and well equipped. The village is quiet and fields begin behind the garden. The locations is good for broadway (5 mins drive) and other charming villages and countryside walks. We would happily visit again. A couple of things to note: The Wifi was at times not reliable in the living room and main bedroom. It might be good to get a range extender. Mobile reception was poor inside the house (no doubt due to the thick stone walls) so I needed to wait outside when I was expecting a call. The TV showed grid lines across the screen for about 5-10 mins after switching on, as though it needed to warm up before working as normal.

  A truly stunning property in a perfect location.

  Having all the original character of a listed property and with its quirky features, this cottage is charming. With comfortable furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen and everything else we needed being provided our time here was relaxed and memorable. The spectacular garden is a place we spent many hours during our summer stay and is a truly special place to absorb the ambience and unique atmosphere surrounding the cottage. Thankyou to the owner Karl for taking the time to make sure we had a great stay in his property. Indeed, this was our 3rd stay at Little Gables and we can honestly say, every time has been great. We will certainly be back!
