  This is a modern, comfortable apartment which is light and airy, and very clean. It's well placed on the east side of Whitby, near the boatyard and a 10-minute walk into the centre of town, with 3 good pubs en route. It's a 20-minute walk up Green Lane to the Abbey & brewery. There's a private parking space outside (which is well worth having in Whitby) and a lift inside the building. There's everything you'd want in the way of equipment - microwave, small fridge/freezer, toaster, washer/dryer and a good size TV with Freeview & Netflix. It's a great place for a couple, or someone travelling solo and I would definitely look to book there again when I return to Whitby.

  Great location, handy for beach, shops, restaurants, bus and railway station.

  All within 10mins walk. Modern airy ground floor flat, with all mod cons and plenty of kitchen equipment, towels and other bits and pieces, eg bottle opener, torch and even dog bowls!. Netflfix and Freeview access easy to use. .....Downside , had to park 4 streets away as no space near at all. Over the 3 days as soon as space free , another car shot into it. Also no private outdoor space , and front door onto main street so if you have a dog its a constant "leashing up" for walkies!.....Also pleeaase change the uncomfortable bed settee in lounge , its not the best, sorry. ....All in all though , location ,price and facilities would make us visit again.

  Stayed here for a week, lovely flat in the centre of Filey.

  Close to beach, shops, pubs, restaurants etc. No parking at the property, and on street parking difficult, so couldn't get parked nearby. Not an issue for us as we didn't use the car much during the week. Train and bus station close by. The flat was nicely decorated, however there was a strong smell of damp when we first entered, which wasn't great. One night we came back to find a large slug in the bathroom! Also as other reviews have said, the sofa in the living is tiny and uncomfortable, not big enough for 2 people to relax in. All in all, a good place but could use one or 2 improvements.

  The apartment is lovely but needs items adding.

  Nothing to clean toilet with no sweeping brush and nowhere to hang thing in the bathroom. No shelving etc. Missing a few items in the kitchen too . Like a sharp knife .a Lso the kitchen is a great area to sit but the sofa was missing a leg so we had to put a can there . I've relayed these snags to the owner and I feel certain the next person will have all these items when they arrive. Its a great location but if u have issues with steps please consider there are a few quite steep ones out the front doors but there are rails. Lovely owners . Lovely apartment I would return

  First visited last year (2020), had a great time, we found the location to be spot on for us, being at the back of the town. The apartment is ideal for couple, decent size, added bonus is the allocated parking space, which I always look for, when choosing holiday accommodation. Very well equipped, and good access to all the supermarkets. Ideal for visiting all the great local attractions and National Park. Have returned this year, because we enjoyed it so much, and love Whitby and North Yorkshire National Park.
