Took six days to fix a faulty smoke alarm that was constantly bleeping every 30 seconds 24 hours a day.
Was very annoying. Road noise from outside was very loud and intrusive. The two couches in the flat are very uncomfortable and well past their sell by date. No support in them at all. The flat is well equipped and close to town but you have to park at least a 5/10 minute walk away. We found empty shower cap box between the cushions when trying to adjust the cushions and a cigarette lighter under the coffee table, so cleaners could be a bit more vigilant. We had a good holiday but the alarm was very annoying and couches need changed. If this and the road noise could be dealt with we woul think about returning here but couldn't countenance a return if these issues weren't sorted.

Turnbull View is an excellent holiday property and was immaculately clean. A leisurely walking pace gets you to either the Whalebone Arch on the West Cliff, or to the eastern end of the swing bridge in town in about 15 minutes. There is private easy parking for 2 cars adjacent to the front door of the property (though we only had one). All routes out of Whitby are very easy without needing to negotiate the town traffic which can be busy at times. We would (and probably will) book this property again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Stakesby House Apartment 2 is lovely; spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully furbished and most comfortable. The location was great - quiet and close to Whitby, with a view over a very pleasant garden. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and also left a 'welcome pack' of wine, biscuits and milk - which was a lovely touch - much appreciated and unexpected. We had a wonderful break here and would definitely return again and recommend it to friends.

Great property - as good as the photos on the web site. Very clean, well organised, equipped and comfortable. Really close to the beach (10 min walk as need to go down slopes to reach the sand) and to the town centre (15 min walk). Playstation (bring more controllers if you want to play together) and Sky and Netflix was popular with the teenagers. [Please do not use my name in this review.]

We found the Park View a clean and lovely spacious flat.
It was fully equipped and the owner left at the flat all the instructions manuals for the appliances and the TV. The flat is in a wonderful location and has lovely scenic views of Pannett Park and looking into the town of Whitby. The owner was easy to get a hold of and was informative, helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Park View and we would stay there again in the future.
