  We had an absolutely fantastic time, Porthcurno Bay View (which is part of the old hotel apartments) is so much larger and has so much more to offer than the listing on Sykes states.

  For example, they provide fans for the heat, hairdryers, a box of board games and a box of traditional games, a whole bookshelf of books, DVDs and Wii games (and the Wii), there is a bar! The kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful plates, cups, cutlery etc and even has herbs, spices, oils etc, on arrival the owners thoughfully left us milk in the fridge, a bottle of prosecco, biscuits, teabags and sugar. Now to the house: I loved sitting in the balcony with the sun on my face looking at the sea, I loved sitting in the conservatory to have my breakfast, the lounge was comfortable and included Sky TV, the downstairs bathroom has a jacuzzi bath (my kids loved that), the beds were comfy, and there were so many beautiful touches around the house, the vases, the flowers, the tissue boxes, the cushions. I highly recommend this lovely apartment/house. I am writing such a full review because when I booked there were only a few reviews and they were very short. I hope this is helpful. In terms of the area Porthcurno is very pretty, so much foliage (reminds me of Spain, so tropical). But be aware it is in the middle of nowhere, there are no shops (nearest is St Buryan - 10 mins drive away). There is a delightful cafe though in walking distance, and the owners there are so welcoming, they knew my name from day 1 and were so lovely to us. Highly recommend their cornish scones (homemade) and cornish pasties. The Beach is a 10 minute walk away (from door to sand) if you are slow and not so fit like me, about 7 mins if you are fitter. Porthcurno is one of the best beaches in Cornwall, we felt lucky to be in walking distance from this beautiful beach, the secret beach which you can reach when the tide is at its lowest, and the Minack Theatre. Beware of tiny roads around this area, it is not easy to drive around if you come from a town/city like we did. For the owners just a couple of tiny things would have made this stay even better (though it was near perfect): butter on arrival (there are no shops), more toilet paper (we ran out, and again no shops), darker blinds (that's just me, I am sensitive to light), lighter quilts as it was hot, plastic plates for the kids (your plates are too nice for them!) and maybe update your listing to include all your wonderful additions (like fans, board games, books etc), because I brought a lot of things I really didn't need and could have saved time and space in the car.   Beatiful setting and gardens The outdoor wooden room very comfy chairs great to sit in and read .

  Very comfy bed.Overlong curtains caused an accident. .No comfortable chair To sit in to watch tv only wicker iron dining chairs covered by fluffy white sheepskins. After a day out I enjoy watching TV from a comfy chair and about 8 some nibbles.Idont.like watching TV from bed or eating snacks inbed but understand this is personal 7 sheepskins in an area you approximately 35 ft.by 10 feet to accommodate sleeping area dining and cooking including sidetables bookcase and bedside tables so small.Despite leaving switch on longer no water sufficiently hot to wash greasy dishes kept running cold as it did in bathroom sink.3 cupboards of China one narrow cupboard for food The shoser came apart on day 3 when I tried to cleansoap dish.slide doordoes not slide so water fromShower gets through. quite a space.storage.smallfridge although room for a taller one.Food storage difficult for 7 days yet alone nine. Cooking a faff as no hob or oven set up apart from microwave oven which was not cooking through properly have to set up equipment and store back. Again personal choice I'd provide Cornish scones from post office in pack rather than Lidle nationwide ones.A welcome binder would be really useful. Fresh flowers all around in garden but about five poor plastic plants in barn. Clothes washing difficult had to boil kettle for dishes and clothes couldnot find basket to carry clothes to line.

  An absolutely outstanding property.

  A huge apartment over two floors of the Old Hotel. Beautifully furnished with lovely attention to detail and felt like a loved home. It had everything you needed and more. An exceptionally well equipped kitchen, lots of living space. We loved the conservatory and the balcony which was my favourite area to sit in with beautiful views. A very comfortable lounge with a TV with sky, a wii console games and dvd's provided. A lovely stocked book cabinet. Beautiful clean, bright bedrooms with comfy beds, quality bedding and fluffy towels. The master bedroom suite was exceptional with idyllic views and a fabulous freestanding bath. Fans provided if it was hot, hairdryers, iron and ironing board, hoover. Everything you want a home to have. It's the little details, the little touches like their manuals on everything, their local walking books, make this property stand out. It definitely felt like a place with a heart that was loved. Our only negative was we needed a kitchen cupboard to put our food as they were all full with equipment and that on our second week we had noisy kids in the apartment above that jumped and ran around all the time so we couldhear all footsteps. However we had the most wonderful time and would highly recommend this accommodation and would most definitely return.

  Lovely cottage, absolutely spotlessly clean on arrival.

  Thoughtful touches of a goody bag of treats for us and treats for our Westie. Everything you could need for a self catering holiday but there are a few things which could be improved upon. Not enough hanging space for clothes and the size of the drawers in the chest of drawers in the bedrooms were not of a good size for storing clothes in. Only good enough for socks, underwear etc. Internal doors need oiling as very squeaky. Nowhere in bathroom to place items. Didn’t really want to place them on the toilet and surrounding area. Not very hygienic. Just a couple of extra shelves would be great. Wash basin was way too small as you could not fill it with a lot of water as it spilt over the side and onto the floor. Boiler system noisy. Would recommend family and friends to stay here without any doubt. Treesoth Cottages is a great location very quiet and peaceful and ideally located for visiting other areas in Cornwall.

  Overall, the property was quite excellently presented, it was clean, warm and welcoming when we arrived.

  The hamper of goodies was particularly interesting, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was neat and inviting. Tanya was most welcoming in her texts, and made sure we were settled in and was able to offer advice via text when we needed help. Without wishing to complain, we both are pensioners and found the sofas in the living room far too low and without adequate back support, but I think that is an 'us' problem more than a 'you' problem. My laptop was unable to link to the hub, although our iPads and phones linked ok. For some reason we could only watch you tube on the tv in the lounge, and could not get anything to link and work on the bedroom tv. I am computer literate and can manage most modern technology, so I am not sure what the issue was. I would like to repeat that we had a fabulous time staying at 15 The Moors, and would like to return in the future. Five stars, recommended.
