  The photographs and description were accurate and it was clean and tidy on entry.

  The wifi and live TV reception were good and the wifi was easily able to support streaming via the TV apps. The beds were comfortable and the neighbours were quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and there was nothing that was obviously lacking for our self catering needs. The close proximity of one of the car parks and the pub next door was not a problem with noise. The automatic barrier at the entrance to the residence car park was not working during our visit but there was never any difficulty with accessing the dedicated parking spaces. There was one evening (Friday night) when it was a a little noisy at the the pub in the entertainment area on the way to the beach which was hosting a disco evening but it all finished around 10.30 to 11 without disturbing our sleep. The shower over the bath was adequate and there was plenty of hot water but I cannot comment on the heating since it was the height of summer when we visited. The directions and arrival instructions were a little confusing since it depends on which direction you drive along Golf Links Terrace. The instructions for the key box and entry were excellent and unloading was easy because the car was in front of the entrance door. One set of stairs to sleeping area and two sets to the living area. It was located very close to a number of places to drink, eat or take-out food. In addition there were 3 convenience stores within a very short walk ( Tesco, Spar and Londis ) for self catering. There was also a large Tesco across the river on the outskirts of Bideford. There was a magnificent view from the living area of the sea (or the car park and car to the rear). There was easy access to the beach and walks in either direction along the coast. All in all a great property for a short let.

  Fabulous stay at Meadow View.

  Beautiful cottage clean, spacious and attractively furnished with everything we could possibly need for a great stay. We slept well and enjoyed waking up to the sight of the stunning Dartmoor hills the property overlooked and visiting deer. Phil and Ann our hosts, were very friendly and on hand if needed but otherwise unobtrusive. South Devon has a wealth of gorgeous places to visit, our favourites were - Dartmouth where we had a great River Cruise on a steamer and explored the shops; South and North Sands and Salcombe- slightly scary drive down to coast, very narrow roads but you do get used to it!! Sea Tractor ride at South Sands and rock-pooling at North. We walked from North Sands to Salcombe town - about 15 minutes - (take change for car park at North Sands - very patchy signal); We took foot passenger ferry from Salcombe (after crabbing with the grandchildren who stayed nearby!) across to Portlemouth to the most beautiful Sandy beaches; Blackpool Sands (it is stones not sand, you’ll need sea-shoes) but great place for water sports; We also ventured to Cornwall’s Eden Project at about 1hour 15mins as we wouldn’t be that close again - great day out for all; Steam train ride from Totnes to Buckfastleigh and return - 120 year old train! Lovely knowledgeable volunteers - beautiful short trip to edge of Dartmoor. On return easy walk (albeit uphill) to Totnes Castle and some very nice shops. We walked our legs off, weather was kind and had a lovely very memorable week - thank you Phil and Ann and beautiful South Devon

  Wow! What an amazing apartment.

  Fabulous location overlooking the sea and steps away from lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. Sitting out on one of the three balconies listening to the sea was just glorious. The Lookout was probably the best apartment we have ever stayed in. It was absolutely spotless and the owners have thought of everything. We didn’t cook as there were too many restaurants to try but the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of everything. Cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets etc and the milk and biscuits left were much appreciated after arriving late after a very long journey. Beautiful bedding and an abundance of towels. I really can’t fault it- it was perfect! Thank you to the lovely owners - great communication and we could tell how much the property is loved and cared for. We really didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back .

  Meadow View was perfect for our holiday!

  Modern, attractive and spotlessly clean. Fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing and stress free break. Beautifully furnished to a high quality. I loved the chair with a view from the bedroom window. Stunning meadowland views and beyond to open countryside at the front of the property and private, enclosed courtyard to the rear. Meadow View is in a beautiful and peaceful location just outside Modbury; the perfect area for visiting beaches, local towns and tourist attractions. Our hosts Phil and Anne were so lovely; friendly and helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Meadow View, we have no problem recommending it and we will definitely be looking to stay there again in the future. 5 stars from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Wow, what a place!

  We had booked for last Christmas but due to lockdown were unable to go, so have been waiting 18 months to stay, and well worth the wait!! We stayed for a week over the Christmas period. The actual property is beautiful. It's location is perfect with pub's and restaurants literally next door! The views from the lounge and bedroom were glorious across the sea. The owners are really kind and friendly and had left us a card and bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. I cannot recommend a stay here enough. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed - plus some! We really didn't want to leave! We will be staying again.
