  An excellent stay. The property is very comfortable, well equipment and in a perfect location. A few points of note for your forward consideration: 1. The key safe contained two sets of flat keys but only one for the building making it inconvenient at times when our family were out separately at the same time. A second set of main building door keys would be preferable 2. When we arrived the main lobby having come into the building has a strong, distinct smell of cannabis which lasted the first couple of days of our stay. We appreciate that there is a limited amount you can do to stop other property owners using it in their own homes but you might ask your building manager to investigate, particularly if the two properties off of the main entrance are also holiday rentals? Definitely not a complaint on our part however future guests may make a bigger issue of it

  This last visit was the third for my wife and myself in last three years.

  I hope that speaks volumes. We intend to rebook for next year. The apartment is extremely spacious, well appointed and very comfortable with lovely views to the distant sea and along the coastline. It is situated on the ground floor of the sunny West corner of the building with direct access to the garden, which was ideal for our little dog! I just love swimming off the beautiful sandy beach down the lane at South Milton Sands - some 300 yards away. There is also direct access to the South West Coast Path at the end of the lane there. I recommend a clifftop walk beside the golf links to Bantham and a pub lunch at The Sloop! If you go in the other direction then head over to Hope Cove and a pre-booked lunch at The Lobster Pod in one of their pods.

  Sarah and Rob were extremely welcoming on our arrival to their outstanding holiday home.

  Spicery Barn is an absolute gem which we were lucky enough to discover. There was everything we could possibly need and nothing was too much trouble. The property was absolutely immaculate on arrival. It was also very easy to keep clean during our stay. We enjoyed the sunset in the hot tub accompanied by the horses in the next field. If you are looking for rest and relaxation this property will tick all of your boxes. There is plenty to do nearby or simply enjoy the property and it’s beautiful surroundings. We would highly recommend and would very much return again should we be heading that way again. Thanks Sarah and Rob for a perfect holiday

  Enjoyed a lovely three night stay at Springwell lodge.

  When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely cream tea which we weren’t expecting and all the facilities/amenities had been well thought out! The location is fab as it’s just off the bypass so you’re able to easily access anywhere. When we weren’t out and about exploring, the lodge was the perfect little place to come back to. The hot tub was an amazing addition after a heavy day of walking. The garden is also completely secure so the fur baby was safe and not able to roam where he shouldn’t! Also great communication with Kelly and Arron as to where we pick the keys up etc. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you! Fran and Jono x

  This property is beautiful.

  Very well maintained clean and cozy. If your looking for break to chill in the country side with a hot tub. This is perfect. It's the small things that I loved. It was our Mini honeymoon and they brought us a card, flowers and prosecco. Also there was homemade scones with jam in a little glass jar and cream. We also had tea, Coffee, sugar and milk ready for us. There was black bags, dish soap and hand soap. Everything that you need is there. The best stay we've ever had and we will be returning. Thankyou Sarah and Rob for being the best hosts it means so much.
