  It was very disappointing to find the cottage not as clean as it should have been upon arrival.

  I would have dealt with some of the minor things myself, ie dirty dishwasher filter in need of a rinse and wheel from basket runner left loose inside the basket, congealed food inside the fitted kitchen bin, food crumbs in the cutlery drawer and biscuit barrel, cupboard shelves in need of a wipe, etc had there been any cleaning products available to use, but there was not even so much as a j cloth or disposable sponge left for guests use. We immediate went out to purchase some antibac spray and cloths but on returning and then noticing the state of the downstairs toilet, it was a step too far. Seat and lid left up showing dried stains around the top, and dirty used bowl. This was when we contacted you. Your cleaner arrived after our phone conversation to deal with these matters and said she wasnt allowed to leave any cleaning products for guests use. This seems very strange as we holiday in dog friendly cottages two or three times a year, and there has always been something left to freshen the cottage ourselves during the week. The cleaner has now left a bottle of bleach and some j-cloths. I appreciate cleaners only have a limited amount of time between bookings but some things do require more attention from time to time. I.e. the black mould around the conservatory windows and bedroom balcony doors, bird muck on the inside of the bedroom window. Also the fan in the bathroom does not work, and there is a leak under the bathroom sink which has a small containor to catch the drips. The dustpan and brush need replacing as the flexible edge of the dustpan is missing so and dirt gets swept under the gap instead of into the pan. Also the broom doesn't sweep the hard floors very well. Currently the garden needs some attention, it is quite overgrown and does not look like the picturers on the website. It would be useful for the listing to state that some of the garden has a wall height of around 1m, which for many dogs is very easy to jump over. The cottage itself is lovely, in a perfect position so it seems a shame to spoil the experience over things that could be easily rectified.

  This is a lovely cottage.

  It is well situated for country walks and beaches. The owners are next door and couldn't be more helpful. The cottage is well equipped, so we were able to fully self cater, which we needed with our dog. There was milk, tea, coffee, Welshcakes and jam provided by the owners, which was really kind. There were also dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc which are often not provided. They have a lovely big garden, which was great for our dog. Although worth noting that it's not fully enclosed, so wayward dogs would need to be on a lead. It's only a small thing, and the description probably covered that. There was also outside seating, which was fab. There are local coastal walks and it's well situated for exploring the island. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cottage.

  We had a very relaxing stay at Seiriol View and are already thinking about when we can next get away again.

  The house was very comfortable and homely, and it's location ideal. Once the car was parked up we didn't need to move it again for days as everything needed is close by, including a handy well stocked shop for milk on arrival, a fantastic chippy, a pub serving hot meals and the gorgeous cafe Ann's Pantry ( note this opens in evening only at weekends and throughout summer holidays) Although the house is right in centre of Moelfre sitting directly behind Kinmel Arms it was very quiet and in a private setting with a raised deck for sea views - just perfect. Moelfre is the perfect base to explore the island - and Seiriol View the perfect holiday cottage there with a well equipped kitchen, a fresh clean bathroom with endless hot water and comfy beds.

  Tracey and Huw are really lovely owners and it was great to meet them.

  They live on site but are very unobtrusive. The cottage is immaculately clean and extremely well equipped; although we took tea towels and washing up things etc with us it was unnecessary as Ty Gwenyn had everything we needed. Toys, games and beach equipment were also available - very thoughtful. The only slight drawback was only having one toilet- but then we did have three grandchildren under 6 with us. It’s not helpful when one urgently needs the toilet and someone is already using it! But I’m sure it’s not usually a problem. Sadly this was only a very short break - longer would have been better. Also I must say that this cottage was very near what turned out to be our favourite spot - Church Bay. Beautiful!

  Amazing cottage within a couple of minutes from a cafe, a pub, a fish and chip shop, the village store and most importantly, great coastal walks.

  The living room is spacious with really comfortable sofas and chairs, the kitchen is so well equipped it is like being at home (except for the electric hob that took me two days to work properly! It's simple, I'm just used to gas!) There is loads of space for coats and wet dogs in the rear cloakroom area that can be directly accessed from the garden, and also an outbuilding with washing machine and extra fridge freezer and even more space for muddy boots etc. It was unseasonally warm for October when we went but the central heating was very efficient and we lit a fire in the living room fire place a couple of times as well. We would definitely return. Dogs loved it too!
