  We did ask if we could arrive early, so partially blamed ourselves, but the house wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived.

  There were dog hairs, crumbs and sand on the floor and table in the living room. This was disappointing but we moved on, after quickly running the hoover over. The house is very well stocked with most things you would need for a week away. The milk was appreciated for an cuppa after the drive across. On a positive note though, the house is very well located for the beaches and eateries of Bude and we did enjoy our stay there. The double bedroom could do with a blind as the curtains do let a lot of light in, and we couldn’t find any recycling clear bags or bin liners as stated in the booklet so just used the bags that were in the bins already. The area seemed really quiet, which was perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring. There were plenty of places nearby to get a coffee, beer or food - or just watch the sunset. Lovely!

  Lovely get away!

  Prefect as described. Hut itself was clean and tidy, lovely size, had a mini book shelf, and games/pet supplies under the bed, which was a nice touch. Had a good amount of wood for the fire and hot tub. A folder that explained how to use the hot tub etc and a cleaning tick list so you could see they had clean it before our stay. We were facing the farm land which had, chickens, goats, sheep and a pound with ducks. We were based around many farms as you could hear the farm animals around us. We were fenced in so our dog could roam freely without getting out. There was another hut behind us, people in that hut were friendly and quiet, you couldn’t see them unless we walked along the path to our car. Overall it was a great, have recommend it to many friends and family and would definitely come back again. ☺️

  Just returned from a week with our 2 children.

  The house was as described. Apart from the kitchen needing a quick going over I thought the house was well kept and clean. Although the hoover did smell of wet dog. The lawns were mowed whilst we were there keeping the nice big garden looking great. The location was ideal for costal works in either direction and for walks to the 2 local beaches. Crooklets beach bar regularly had live music on which was super to add to the atmosphere. Bude village its self was a lovely place to visit with many little shops bakeries and clothes shops. Sainsburys was just up the road which was handy and also Lidl just a short drive away. Tintagel Castle is an absolute must visit it the views were amazing on a sunny day.

  Awel-Y-Mor was very clean on our arrival.

  There is an enclosed garden which is great for children/dogs. The area is very good as only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest small beach with another not too much further. Sainsburys & the small town about a 10 minute walk away too. The kitchen is very well equipped with utensils and crockery. The house is a bit 'tired' looking and could do with a bit of time and TLC spent on it. Bathroom towels supplied were only small bath towels, Bath sheets would be much better!! Also, a door mat at the back door might be useful as nothing to wipe your feet on (or the dogs)!! However we did have a lovely stay there and Bude and the surrounding area are well worth visiting!

  We loved this property.

  It had everything we needed and we are hoping to come back. Will get in touch about next year. One thing I would say is that we arrived on 29 December and although we were allowed in earlier around 12ish, the house was very very cold when we arrived. It would have been nice if the heating was at least turned on (to a low level would be fine) so it took the edge off the coldness. And if the cleaners had been in that morning to get it ready for us, they could have done this. But it didn't take long to heat up so it really wasn't a major. just a comment. I also left a jigsaw puzzle with all pieces there for future guests.
