  Lovely ground floor light and airy apartment for 2 Lovely contemporary decor Quality fixtures and fittings kitchen area is small but nicely planned out - enough equipment for basic cooking , although why would you on holiday!   Lovely property across from the church. The property was very pet friendly with an enclosed yard and the church green straight across the road. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Parking is not provided and you have to park on the roadside but there is a free car park on York road which you can park on until the day visitors have left if you can’t find a space. All the amenities in Southwold is within easy walking distance from the accommodation & you can use the footpath through the church yard which takes you straight into town. Would recommend The Canteen a couple of doors up from ‘Half Pint’ lovely food and also dog friendly as is the majority of pubs and cafes in the town. Would definitely recommend Half Pint when staying in Southwold

  Caithness House is in a lovely location, with the seafront being just at the end of the road. The decor is nice and it has comfy sofas for lounging if the weather is not so good. There is lots of kitchen equipment available but no where to store food. The TV seemed to be very new and had lots of extra channels such as Netflix as promised, but the channels are not signed in to an account. So you can only use them if you have your own account anyway. It would be better if they were signed in to their own Caithness House account. The WiFi was good though.

  The apartment is in a wonderful location. Close to the beach and the town. The main living/dining/kitchen area is spacious as is the main bedroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are quite small. The shower room is very small. Bedroom linen is of a high quality and the beds were very comfortable. Be aware if you’re booking with mobility issues, as all on one floor, the main entrance has one steep step. We had a lovely week in Southwold.

  Caithness House is a great base to explore Southwold. Walk a few paces one way and you are on the beach, the other way you are in the town. We had a wheelchair user with us, it was really accessible (as described). Plenty of space for the family to eat together, play games or just relax. Beds comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Lovely touches - like a welcome cake and fresh milk in the fridge. Would definitely book again.
