  We were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the property, it was filthy.

  There were old cobwebs all around the doorframe and key safe, upon entering the property we were greeted with a musty smell and we were disgusted to find trodden in crisps still in the carpet of the twin bedroom, dust in the kitchen and chewing gum stuck on the bunk beds. After spending an hour cleaning it, we were able to unpack and settle in. This is when we discovered the broken shower. The property is advertised as having a shower over the bath, however this is a shower head attached to the tap, with a broken holder. You are not able to stand to take a shower or use it due to it being broken. The property is in some dire neeed of modernization and general upkeep. The kitchen does however have a good stock of equipment and the washing machine is very handy. After reporting these issues to Sykes, I was called by an agent who offered to send a cleaner which would have been useless as I had already cleaned up the mess. I was also asked if I would have been happy for the shower to be fixed to which we agreed, however this did not materialize due to waiting for a part. This problem could have easily been fixed by a trip to Screwfix!! The location of this property is it's saving grace. It is a short walk down into Port Isaac and is a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

  We had a lovely stay at Harry and will happily return to stay at one of the three cottages in the future.

  Perfectly situated for a very quiet, peaceful holiday. The only sounds were sheep bleating and birds singing - utter bliss! Harry was very clean and comfortable and provided just what we needed. The caretakers, Fiona and Steve, were most friendly and helpful. We fell in love with Blisland itself, a truly unspoilt English village. The pub was very welcoming and does a delicious home cooked Sunday lunch and the local shop and cafe was well stocked and provided a great coffee after a local walk. The only constructive criticism would be that there should be at least one tray in the kitchen so that food and drink can be safely carried downstairs in Harry and out to the table in the back garden. Also the extractor fans did not seem to be working in the bathrooms despite locating the power switches? Perhaps there was a reason for this? Overall it was a wonderful holiday in a lovely cottage.

  The owners of this cottage fitted us in at very short notice (less than half a day!) and we are so grateful they did! The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. Super clean, all the essentials you need plus all the things you haven't thought of! We made use of the children's toys, books and beach toys. My 3 year old is now a snakes and ladders fanatic after playing every day. Such a wonderful place to wind down and relax. Beautiful sunsets over the ocean, easy walk to the beach, lovely big front lawn. Absolutely perfect and we're already looking to book next year and bring family with us. Thank you for fitting us in at such short notice!

  I love Tom, Dick and Harry cottages.

  I think my family (or my extended family) have all stayed in at least one of the cottages over the years. This was our 3rd stay at Harry and as always, we loved it. It’s beautiful and spacious, offering plenty of space in the open floor plan to spread out and relax. The bedrooms downstairs are comfortable and have access to a lovely back lawn with pretty border gardens and outdoor seating. Blisland is a picture book perfect little village with its popular pub, leafy village green, beautiful church and wonderful little grocery that has the essentials. We will continue to return to this beautiful spot.

  This beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations in many ways. The communication between St.Ives Holidays and ourselves was consistent and informative, including information about parking and arrival. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It was close to the harbor and facilities (pubs, bars, restaurants and shops). Thank you for ensuring that our stay was pleasurable, comfortable and memorable. This was a 50th Birthday Treat and a great way to celebrate and enjoy the occasion. I thoroughly recommend Bluebell Cottage and would certainly return in the near future. Thank you.
