  An amazing find.

  accommodation totally private and quiet set in a very short distance from the wolds that offers an abundance of walking footpaths and bridleways Woodlands vast open fields in such beautiful countryside. Also just a 2 minute walk into town that offers everything. Amazing tranquil villages offering pub food. Further afield you have wonderful dog friendly beaches that we found to be so clean. Really something for everyone from museums to fun parks to peace and quite of the countryside. Then back to the accommodation that we found to be home from home withvtge added bonus of the hot tub really there was nothing to find fault about the hosts were there but if required but very private. We thoroughly enjoyed a well needed quiet break with our 2 spaniels that loved every moment and have returned home very tired from their explorations. Thankyou xxx

  We realised that we were going into a quite compact accommodation but we were very impressed at the way things were laid out and there was everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxed in this tastefully decorated place.

  .The place was spotless and hygiene was up to a high standard. We were slightly concerned about storage but there was a wardrobe (plenty of coat hangers too)in the kitchen and there was extra storage under the bed and in the very clean bathroom.Private parking and a totally enclosed garden for our dog. The owners were very frendly and very helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble when dealing with one or two of our extra needs.(being older we like a teapot teapot and long handled dustpan and brush and these were delivered promptly) Access to the beach was very easy,about 10 minutes and the local Seacroft bar provided good reasonably priced meals and drinks. Thank you very much to our hosts for making our stay so enjoyable.Another very good Sykes accommodation . Jacqui and Barrie September 2023

  Fabulous! What a find!

  This is a real treasure, a beautiful modern cottage very well equipped. We spent a week here including Christmas. We were warm and comfortable and the hosts were available if we had needed anything. A beautiful Christmas wreath was on the front door and some very tasteful Christmas Christmas decorations inside. When opening the front door it was like stepping inside a page of 'House Beautiful' . The situation of the cottage is idyllic, beautiful views with stupendous sunrise and sunsets. A short walk across the old golf course (now in the process of being turned into a nature reserve by the National Trust) leads to the promenade and of course the sea!! Wonderful!   We were very pleased to see this property listed again having stopped there in 2018 and wanting to go back.

  The new owners have improved the offering by extending the area available to include a garden area which now means those staying have the option between the patio, garden or large hottub to while away the hours. The week we stayed in early June the weather was great, so we spent the afternoon chasing the sun around those areas following a morning spent walking our dog in the near by Willingham Woods. We stepped through the gate to the property and experienced 7 days of peace and tranquility. In the last 5 years we have stoped in various properties in different areas of the contry. This was up there with the best. We hope to return in the future.

  2nd visit to this holiday lodge , perfect pre Christmas get away and to celebrate my sisters birthday !

  We both enjoyed the hot tub which makes this place that extra special ! Just looking out the doors at the fish pond watching the birds is idyllic ! And the garden is great for the dogs ! Had minor problem with boiler but Beth was around straight away to fix it ! The lodge was decorated for Christmas which was lovely ! Easy access to Lincoln town or bit further afield beaches at Skegness and Mablethorpe were perfect for winter walks with the dogs ! Thank you for welcome gift of bubbles and biscuits ! Also the tescos across the road means you don’t have to worry about food ! Lovely holiday we will definitely be back !
