  It was very disappointing to find the cottage not as clean as it should have been upon arrival.

  I would have dealt with some of the minor things myself, ie dirty dishwasher filter in need of a rinse and wheel from basket runner left loose inside the basket, congealed food inside the fitted kitchen bin, food crumbs in the cutlery drawer and biscuit barrel, cupboard shelves in need of a wipe, etc had there been any cleaning products available to use, but there was not even so much as a j cloth or disposable sponge left for guests use. We immediate went out to purchase some antibac spray and cloths but on returning and then noticing the state of the downstairs toilet, it was a step too far. Seat and lid left up showing dried stains around the top, and dirty used bowl. This was when we contacted you. Your cleaner arrived after our phone conversation to deal with these matters and said she wasnt allowed to leave any cleaning products for guests use. This seems very strange as we holiday in dog friendly cottages two or three times a year, and there has always been something left to freshen the cottage ourselves during the week. The cleaner has now left a bottle of bleach and some j-cloths. I appreciate cleaners only have a limited amount of time between bookings but some things do require more attention from time to time. I.e. the black mould around the conservatory windows and bedroom balcony doors, bird muck on the inside of the bedroom window. Also the fan in the bathroom does not work, and there is a leak under the bathroom sink which has a small containor to catch the drips. The dustpan and brush need replacing as the flexible edge of the dustpan is missing so and dirt gets swept under the gap instead of into the pan. Also the broom doesn't sweep the hard floors very well. Currently the garden needs some attention, it is quite overgrown and does not look like the picturers on the website. It would be useful for the listing to state that some of the garden has a wall height of around 1m, which for many dogs is very easy to jump over. The cottage itself is lovely, in a perfect position so it seems a shame to spoil the experience over things that could be easily rectified.

  Just got back from 2 weeks holiday, we absolutely loved Crows Nest.

  Difficult to try and fit it all in:- so much living space fab conservatory opening out onto great decking from which we often had red squirrel visit, saw close up great spotted woodpecker and nightly visits from an owl. By the torch light we were delighted to watch this huge brown owl sat watching us AMAZING! Heavy rain couple of nights we moved into cosy living room. Adrian and Linda lived next door and were on hand for any queries and advice where to visit. We received the best welcome gifts ever Wine chocolates and flowers with fresh flowers on 2 week. Benllech beach is 5 minute drive which we did each morning for daily dog walk. Our Jack Russell loved the outside space which had so many different areas and he had no problems at all with their cat or the cat with him! We loved nautical ⚓ theme with so much to look at we were still spotting something new a week into our hols. Comfy beds, great shower, good parking, central location to getting around the island Super holiday. We will definitely go back and would recommend.   Cottage is lovely and spacious and loved the seafaring theme throughout for owners Adrian and Linda.

  Have us lots of information of the local area and beyond and left flowers and chocolates on our arrival. Cottage lovely and clean as we're the bedding and towels. Conservatory and decking area is fabulous with great views. We had the squirrel visiting daily and was fortunate to see 2 on our last day. The only thing to be aware of is the step leading into the bathroom but we overcame this by plugging in a night light in the lounge for overnight. The couple of gates in the cottage were great as it kept our 2 dogs Biscuit and Bailey from entering the bedrooms. Loved our holiday so much that we've booked again to return in September.   We have just returned home from a week at Moelfre.

  The cottage is in an ideal location, and very quiet. The cottage it a great size and is ideal for families and a great base. It definitely had everything we needed. But for us the beds (except the singles) were far too hard and uncomfortable. The damp that is all on the wall above the single bed (against the wall) is horrendous and should not be like that at all. It is pulling the paint and plaster from the wall. There are other patches of damp in the living room and dining room. This is very disappointing especially with the price you pay. It is a shame as this is somewhere we would return to, but I could not return with that level of damp.

  The house is really nice.

  Heating in every room. Lovely and roomy. Very clean. The settees are a bit low if you have difficulty with movement. The water pressure is fantastic and 'eventually' the water is very very hot for a lovely shower. The location is fantastic and with privacy and no chance of the dogs escaping. Everything is provided for your use but you have to bring your own things to use them. Ie coffee maker. Bring your own pods. Log fire buy your own logs. So you need to be aware. The pub is a short walk away and so is coffee shop and icecream parlour. All in all a really good property and well worth the money.
