  We came to The Boathouse as a honeymoon after our wedding. We were absolutely blown away by the location, it is so peaceful and absolutely full of wildlife. As a couple who are interested in watching all kinds of birds and animals, it was beautiful to simply look out of your window and see it all. Some of these including the kingfisher, bats and hearing owls during the evening. Where we stayed was dog friendly and the area the boathouse is in, is fenced all around. This meant that we could relax and let her run around the area without having to worry. In the property there were amenities for both ourselves and the dog, which was a really nice touch. Even the dog enjoyed waking early in the morning and watching the birds from the bed. The owners were very approachable and would check in to see how we were doing. They had left suggestions of local dog walks and places we could eat, which was very handy. Not to mention upon arrival, they had purchased bread from the local bakery, milk, eggs, crisps, homemade strawberry jam and butter. Little touches like this made us feel right at home! In terms of the things to do within the property, there is a lovely bath in the bedroom and a hot tub outside with views of the surrounding countryside. We would highly recommend and will be returning here ourselves!

  The Boathouse is a really special place, unique in its setting and we absolutely loved our stay. We were very lucky with the weather but honestly we could have sat on the veranda and watched the birds, fish and lake all day in all weathers! It's very well equipped and furnished, particularly the kitchen, we didn't miss anything, and the hot tub towels were a great help! Andrew was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, we even saw a grass snake swimming and a kingfisher which was so cool! Overall we would highly recommend this place, and we'd love to come back.

  Amazing stay and everything we wanted it to be. We stayed in the Boathouse which was of a very good size, very clean, comfortable and everything had been thought of to make our stay as relaxing as could be. Really peaceful views over the lake via the balcony or hot tub and we visited 4 little villages in 2 days with all being a manageable and enjoyable walk away. The owner was always on hand to help us or just have a friendly chat when passing. Couldnt recommend Plush Huts more and I am already looking forward to our next visit.

  Me and my partner was extremely happy with the boathouse it was extremely clean and tidy . The welcome basket was so so lovley and very much appreciated. All the little details and touches eh:The outdoor blankets , makeup remover cloth and pads and doggy bits and pieces. The owner was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us very polite and professional we highly recommend this beautiful beautiful holiday destination we was so so happy with our stay thank you very much 11/10 from us!❤️

  We had the most amazing honeymoon in the boat house, it was the perfect location and surroundings for a relaxed and peaceful break with our little dog, who enjoyed it as much as us, with so much outside space for him to run around and enjoy. We met Andrew who was so kind and helpful, Nothing was to much trouble, on arrival there is fresh bread, milk and lots of extra bits which is such a lovely touch! Also treats for the dog! We look forward to staying again in the future!
