  A small compact recently renovated apartment on the first floor.

  Super sea views through large windows, a small but adequate well fitted kitchen area, although no leg room at the 'breakfast bar'. Small double bed, quite comfy, but not big enough / long enough for me. The 'bedroom' also contained 2 extremely large seats, taking up most of the floor space and were, in my opinion, unnecessary. Would have been better to have had a small table and 2 chairs in that window area, to take advantage of the nice views whilst having breakfast. TV was difficult and complicated to use, the signal was also poor and hard to find the basic channels that we use. (no channel hopping on the controls!) Bathroom was excellent, although I would have preferred to have a good shower rather than a jaccuuzzi bath. How many take time for a bath I wonder? Also pleased with the space to hang clothes and drawers for storage. One downside was the entry key. The lock is of poor quality and took a few attempts to get in. My partner was 'locked out' as she could not get in, thankfully someone came out. The apartment keypad also failed and had to be reset - this was of major concern as we could not get hold of anyone. Again the caretaker came to our rescue, but had the instructions been available in the hallway we could have done it ourselves. All in all, one of the best we have stayed at in Bridlington, location, facilities and cleanliness are important and I am sure the niggles we encountered can be sorted. No doubt some couples would use the large seats? and jacuzzi bath. Doubt we will book again, the lack of parking permit (all others provide them) small bed and cramped bedroom

  Chalkstone needs a really, really good clean.

  We found a dirty sock under the settee, the kitchen drawer with bakeware in was filthy so we didn't use any, a shame as we like to cook, on emptying the bin the bottom of it was disgusting, the drawer in the bathroom was very dirty, so we didn't use it for our toiletries, there is mould in the shower and the shower head is black, the damp patch going up the stairs is a bit off-putting. On arrival the kitchen tap was dripping , which soon turned into a stream, we reported this, but was told it wouldn't be fixed until after we left, so we had to put up with the noise of running water, not good for a woman of a certain age !! On leaving ,we found the fridge with an inch full of water underneath the salad drawer. Apart from that the house is in a good location, with private parking, and inside is well equipped and comfortable, a bit of TLC would transform it into a very attractive holiday cottage.   The cottage is in a lovely secluded setting with deer, rabbits and other wildlife seen within the grounds whilst we were there.

  It is located at the end of a very long drive and so I wouldn’t recommend it, if you don’t have your own transport. The cottage is in close driving distance of Bridlington, the lighthouse and other amenities. It was lovely and quiet as we were the only family on site at the time. The enclosed courtyard was great for the dogs as we didn’t have to worry about them escaping. The cottage had everything we needed. It is clean and modern and is stocked with soap, dishwasher tablets etc . There are two bathrooms one with bath and one with shower. Only minor issues were that there is no lock on the door of the bathroom with the shower and taller members of our group found the bed too short as they had footboards but other than that we enjoyed our holiday very much and would return and recommend to friends.

  Loved the property and location!

  !! The open plan living area was great as it meant that everyone could socialise even when cooking in the kitchen. The beds were comfy (which is unusual!) and it was very clean. The location is great for walking to either North or South Landing and the town. It is also quite central if you want to drive to Brid or Filey. It’s a very quiet location with extensive grounds. Lots of wildlife etc. The only small issues we had was the water pressure is very low and this affected the shower and hot water taps , there is also only one shower which meant a bit of a queue on a morning. The WiFi isn’t great especially when guests arrived at the big house. It didn’t ruin our stay and we would definitely visit again.

  Really enjoyed our stay at Apt1 Hunters Quay.

  The apartment was exactly as described and made for a comfortable week away. Well equipped with all basic needs. Great location so close to south beach Bridlington. Would definitely return to this apartment (weather permitting!!) Very minor upgrades needed. 1. Great to have a coffee pod machine on the apartment. However all the mugs were too big to fit under the pourer so we had to have coffee from small glasses!!! Providing some small espresso type cups would be great. 2. Having a washing washing machine was also great, meaning less packing! Again having a drying rack to dry washing would be a small improvement that would mean Hunters Quay probably couldn’t be beaten by anything else in Bridlington!
